holy sweet jebus. call your local precinct and ask for extra police presence in the neighborhood.

Neighbor did call the cops when she got home (she works overnight shifts, she didn't realize how bad it was until she got home and found the small crater in their lawn and the scorched milk box). Cops found the fuse had been tampered with and throwing it at their house means there are actual charges for malicious intent on the table. Apparently if it's more than $750 in damages in our state, it's a felony. I'm not sure it caused that much damage, but I sure hope it gets upgraded to a Class C felony for these little ***holes. This was serious and they could've really hurt someone, and if it was dry, half our neighborhood would've gone up in flames. Sparks definitely hit our lawn and driveway from the explosion, but fortunately, it's been wet lately.

I remember some kids that must of had a crush on the girl next door. They turned my water hose on at 2 am on a Saturday morning. The idiots placed a giant trash can next to the side of the house and proceeded to fill it using my hose. I came outside when I heard the water running and they booked it down the lawn.

Yeah I'm fine. I've had this spot on my left leg that's always been a little more sensitive than anywhere else. As far back as I can remember, if I'm taking a shower, have an itch, whatever, be a little gentler on my left leg. That's all it was. Months go by and I'd forget about it.

The last six months or so it got more intense. Sitting on the couch it'd suddenly be agitated--I described it as a cheese grater on my leg, but it never hurt, it was just... I dunno, intense? I don't know how else to say it.

EMG two weeks ago showed it was likely a pinched nerve, meaning I've had that for around half my life or so lol. It really isn't that big a deal, but I'm at the point in my life where anything even slightly incorrect needs to be looked at, so here we are

For sure, get it checked out. I never knew what a pinched nerve felt like, that's interesting.

Now that I've had skin cancer, I get everything checked out too. So far it's been mostly fine (2 more big removals that were pre-cancerous), but getting checked out past 40 is like a part-time job. Ugh.

Ain’t that the truth. I had a heart CATH recently because I don’t really know my health history and I’ve had recent issues that are like panic attacks eating hot food and a tightness in my chest as well as some poor circulation. They found nothing but man, it’s scary when a doctor says we need to schedule you for more testing LOL I laugh because panic is not an option. HILARIOUSLY the doctor tells me to cut stress from life and I’m like what you mean my job?

We're all getting old man, I've had some stuff crop up too.

I've ran pretty regularly for close to ten years now and it's starting to take a toll on one of my knees.  When I bend over, I can hear it stretching like some elastic or something.  The other one doesn't do that at all.

I kind of want to go get it checked, but I just have a general distrust of the process that would probably send me through a labyrinth of a dozen different specialists and bleed my insurance dry.

I went to a LAN party last night. We had 4 displays, with 2 players on each. We were playing Halo 3 on Xbox 360s. Those graphics haven't aged well, but the gameplay is all there.

So yesterday someone cleaned out one of our bank accounts. They stole my debit card number, so now I have to get a new card...again. This is like the 3rd card in 2 years.

But that wasn't the most interesting part of my day.

Trevor and I each got a letter in the mail from the Polaski, Indiana Department of Children's Services letting us know that some kid we've never heard of was removed from her home and we had to be notified by law since we're related. Long story short, she turned out to be one of Trevor's ex-wife's kids. Trevor and his ex divorced almost 20 years ago. They were together for less than a year. We have no earthly idea how or why we wound up being flagged as relatives. Even using the legal definition of "relative" in the law the letter referenced we wouldn't qualify except as "any other related adult as named by the child or their parent".

Other oddities - my letter came to me with my maiden name on it, a name I haven't used in 12 years at least; both envelopes were handwritten with our current address which we haven't even updated our DLs to, they both still say Houston; the envelope was postmarked 01/29/24 but we got it yesterday.

I went out to my trashcan in the alley this morning. I look to my right and I see a black (unmarked) van with 6 Swat members carrying AR15s, approaching the house from the back. It turns out it was a drug sting, with 3 different houses in the area.

I had a Girl Scout meeting tonight. You guys are way more interesting.

Cerina, ughhh I'm super sorry about the account. We never use our debit cards anymore because I'm so worried about this happening. I wish the bank would issue us an old school ATM only card. Are you going to be able to recover the money?

Yeah, the bank refunded it all while they do their investigation.

Pulled my wet box into the house, after the UPS driver dropped it outside of the cover of the front porch. Either this guy is a total dumbass, or just an ass who don’t give a f***.

I spent the day at the beach with 2 friends. One got there after work, at 3 and we all went to dinner at 6. She had a couple beers between the beach and dinner and we left for home at about 7.

At almost 9, I got a call from another mutual friend-our friend had been in a rollover and they were all at the local hospital awaiting test results. I still don't have details of the wreck.

I'm having  serious somethings going on. It's like, I JUST saw her, how could she have been in a wreck?? And how lucky am I it wasn't me? I didn't have anything to drink today, but still. It's not like she was hammered-she had two beers in 4 hours!
