Pong Messiah
Also, how easy is it to kill a person by stabbing them in the head? Are zombies different in this way or is this just one of those things that happens on teevee that would never happen in real life that I just have to overlook? With a sharp knife, it is very easy, even with a non-rotting skull (and assuming the person isn't maneuvering to defend themselves). It's actually harder to get the blade out than in. Wut? I don't make the rules! It is often harder, especially if you are inexperienced. Try on something dead like a melon, perhaps, and you will see. Ten tries, I bet you'll have to wriggle more times than not to get it out. And it will serve as great practice before you face the real thing. Historical anecdote: the "blood groove" (a fuller) is often believed to exist in order to avoid creating a vacuum when you get stabby with someone, most likely due to repeated military and fantasy novel misconceptions. The perceived "vacuum" is prolly just the blade getting stuck on bone or cartilage, though, and the groove's primary purpose was simply to reduce weight without making huge compromises on blade strength. Stevil
They kind of addressed the "Blade Stickng" thing the other week when Rick's knife snapped in the Walker's head and he ended up cutting his hand.
Driver
At first I thought Morgan would eventually leave his zen master and go on his way, and the dude would still be out there to meet again later. But I forgot what show I was watching.

Justus
I enjoyed the latest ep. The whole aikido monk thing as salvation was cool. Nice little breather from all the gore-porn.Part of me hopes this A+ episode is part of a season-long warm-up to an eventual mind-blowing take-no-prisoners showdown between Morgan and Carol. Another part of me hopes it isn't because we'd end up losing one or both of them. But oh, what an episode it could be. The only way to avoid a loss is if Carol--practical, end-all-threats-yesterday, has a change of heart. She broke down crying over some of the murdered Alexandia residents, and despite her killing every wolf she encountered, I think she's feeling living just to end threats is not life in the bigger picture. Eventually, she will have to open up about what happened to the Samulels sisters to someone, otherwise, her internal guilt / regret might push TV Carol toward sharing her comic counterpart's fate. Morgan sparing the life of homely wolf guy seems like an obvious set up for one of the main cast to die, and dig the line in the sand between Rick and Morgan--certainly after two of the wolves Morgan spared almost killed Rick in the RV. Driver
I couldn't recall-- was the zen master cabin the same place Rick faced off with the dibs-calling bandits Daryl briefly hooked up with before they got to Terminus?
Justus
No. That was a house on a random town's street. Eastman's cabin was deep in the woods.

Pong Messiah
Last three episodes have been a character piece and two decent, but ultimately forgettable breathers/setups. We've been promised an "avalanche" as 2015 comes to a close. Only two more chances to deliver on that promise!
NumberSix
Maybe someday we'll figure out the point of either half of this week's episode, but so far I'm at a loss. I'm assuming the 11/29 finale will see half the cast butchered and the other half reunited so we can dispense with the slow-burn twelve-way split narrative. Stevil
Is it just me or is it really hard to hear the dialogue in this program?? Last night was the worst one ever. I probably only understood half of it. I was too tired to keep rewinding to figure out what people were saying.
Pong Messiah
Norman Reedus's contract is very specific in that he is not allowed to speak on camera unless there are at least 37 live bees in his mouth.
