Stevil
Oh well we can only speculate what "Star Wars Episode 7: The Gungan Amendments" would have been like!!
Driver
They won't talk about it, the first clue will be to see how (or if) Arndt is credited when the movie comes out. And, like I said, if some day his draft leaks online.

The Choc
I think its just, like we said, exactly what everyone would expect is why it didn't create a big buzz.

Old Biff from the Future
[heavy breathing intensifies]word. And also, at D23 they announced the cast of ROGUE ONE - and Donnie Yen is among the cast. I have no idea how they got him. He must be a long time Star Wras fan cause I was for sure he was done with American films. Great day, and FINN with the classic saber
Driver
At first I thought that poster was really bare-- perhaps the center panel of a triptych. But it was pointed out to me this is just a D23 exclusive. Still-- awesome for Drew to come out of retirement. I hope he does the theatrical poster too. It wouldn't be the same without it. TuskenRaider
They said he's doing the theatrical poster also. But I do like this one. Interesting Rey is front and center. Loving the blue tie fighters on the right of the image too. Han looks a little tacked on down there, but overall it gets me even more excited. The Choc
JJ said the run time of TFA will be 2 hours and 4 minutes. I love this, Im tired of all these movies being over 2 and a half hours.
ShadowDog
That's a very arbitrary thing. Green Mile felt 90 minutes. High School Musical (which clocks in at 87 minutes) felt four weeks long.
The Choc
Sure, some movies that are long can sustain it. Most though can't.

ShadowDog
All I'm saying is running time is not something you can judge until you see the movie.
The Choc
A long running time doesn't necessarily mean that its overbloated, but a shorter running time means there is a very good chance that it's not.

NumberSix
...although pretty much to ShadowDog's point, if TFA is any good, everyone's gonna be all like, "That's IT? BOOOO! THAT SHOULDA BEEN THREE HOURS LONG! ZERO STARS! BOOOOOO!"

Guest
LotR worked despite Jackson. Locale + cast + story. But otherwise I agree. Regarding runtime, the OT clocked in right around 2 hours and never felt too long or too short. And there are very few long movies that I enjoy, and they have to be pretty spectacular or I walk away feeling disappointed. I would guess that it's more frequent that a movie could be made better by trimming that 20 minutes than leaving it in. For all of the major flaws with Age of Ultron (a movie that has increased my apprehension for TFA), I would not have been as annoyed if it was 2 hours or less. If you're asking for a time commitment, make it worth it. And I don't expect any Star Wars movie to be worth that time commitment, and it would involve really moving away from the simplicity that made the OT work.
