The Human Torch
I'd love to see a trilogy of each. Plus I bet the Suits want that, at least, too. The geek public loves trilogy sets.
Obsidian
The thing about the Avengers and the Marvel movie universe is, endless possibilities. An Avengers film series could theoretically go on for decades, even after the current actors leave. They could just bring in new heroes (not that I'd want them to, but they could). And countless possible tie-ins. A Luke Cage move, Iron Fist, Captain Marvel, Spider-Woman, etc.) The possibilities for future movies is immense. Darth Krawlie
Get at me when there are Night Thrasher and Darkhawk solo films.
Tank
Ask William Shatner about wrapping it up in his prime. I hope instead of rebooting they just let the characters age and let them hand off if need be to successors. To be honest, they are all pretty young. RDJ is middle-aged and the oldest of the bunch. Tony Stark aging would be an interesting character path.
Guest bodega
That's a good way to get the larger Avengers family into the fold. Look at that. Downey can and will be Stark for as long as he likes. I hope for a good long time.
danger
i think it would be the coolest thing ever for comic movies if they started handing down roles to second generations of super heroes. oh yeah, like dark knight rises.
The Human Torch
Yeah because until Nolan that had never happened on screen before. [cough] The Mask of Zorro etc I know you said Super Heroes but yeah...
Joey Ramone
True but I don't think it's fair to compare Zorro to Batman. Or any other character that people want to see on screen.
danger
when i was a kid, the mask of zorro was the coolest **** ever.
Ixion
It would be pretty amazing if they manage to make 4 sets of trilogies (Avengers, Iron Man, Thor and Captain America). Before the first Iron Man I'd never have guessed it would create such a successful universe.
Guest bodega
I like how Hulk is just flapping out in the breeze. Ruffalo is great at Banner. He deserves at least his own film. Is the Norton Hulk film included in "Avengers Assemble"? Is it still cannon?
ShadowDog
Yes and yes. Still, **** Hulk. Not much there. Oh, you turn into a violent psycho when you mad? So did my stepfather after a couple six packs. What else you got, green mofo? I mean, if getting mad was a super power then Bob Knight would be Superman. Guest
Hopefully by the time the actors are too old they will have some of their top tier characters back.
Ryn
We're only eight years from Iron Man 2020.
The Human Torch
Iron Man 2020 is a cool concept to dig into, perfected by Batman Beyond imo. Only one big thing Marvel would need to avoid: Clockwork Cogs as shoulder pieces. That may have been the look of the future from a 1984 point of view, but that looks like crapola now. Ryn
The current armor is definitely more futuristic than 2020's so I'm thinking it wouldn't be hard to modify it accordingly. But secretly I'd just like a Machine Man intro.
3 & 6 years to go...
Back when Captain America all started, I heard an interview with Chris Evans. He had mentioned in that interview that it was discussed/planned that he would be Captain America in 9 movies.
Darth Krawlie
You know, that does sound familiar. No idea if it ended up being true or not, but I do remember that being said. Speaking of Captain America, what does everyone think of Anthony Mackie playing Falcon? I think it's great. The Human Torch
He was believable in the Hurt Locker. I'd never have thought of him, that's a genius pick I think.
ShadowDog
They signed Samuel L Jackson to a 9 movie contract, so it makes sense they'd lock everyone else up in a similar fashion, even if it doesn't play out that way.

Tank
Why does everything have to be a trilogy? 2 movies. 4 movies. whatever.
Guest bodega
This seems like a prime opportunity to move away from the "gotta be a trilogy" mindset. I mean, do we really need two more whole Thor films? Christ sake I only got through the first one so I could see it all connect to Assemble. I probably wont bother with any sequels.
