Darth Virul
The Hulk reminds me that I need to watch Ace Ventura again one of these days.
R.CAllen
Todd Alcott, professional screenwriter, is currently going through the movie piece by piece to see how it works. It's interesting and I think others might find it interesting too! He's also done this for Spielberg's stuff and the Coen Brothers and Kubrick and also for The Venture Bros. so take a look through his archives or his old LiveJournal for that too maybe. Darth Krawlie
There has yet to be a single thing about the GOTG project to convince me it's not a terrible idea.

Duke
Nah. But the current version of Peter Quill/Starlord does. Just start with a huge budget trilogy version of Annihiliation without explaining anything about any character for the non-nerd audience.

Ryn
The bromance over so soon? Â Still, with Doctor Strange part of Phase 3 and the above developments, I still have hope to see "The Defenders" as part of it.
Darth Krawlie
World War Hulk would be okay, but I really hope they don't do Planet Hulk. Also, Christopher Pratt has been cast as Starlord. Maybe we should have a Phase 2 thread/threads? Darth Lohr
I'm excited about nearly all of this and seeing glimpses just makes me more so. I'm even willing to have a little blind faith and trust that Guardians will be great. However, the Ant-Man test footage is absolutely horrible. I watched some decently filmed footage of it before the studio had it taken down and it made me outright dread the film. If the they're indeed going for goofy, it's a toss-up if I even spend a buck on it at RedBox.
Ixion
I thought the Ant-Man footage looked great, instantly made me really excited to see a film like that, especially with Edgar Wright involved.
Darth Lohr
Personally, I thought it looked cheesy. I'm much more impressed (and happy) with a serious approach that can take the comic book world and merge it convincingly with the "real world". When they announced a director known for his comedic take on films, I was concerned. This did not help.

Kitster aka Boba Fett
I keep saying this, but Ant-Man will surpass everyone's expectations. Edgar Wright > any director Marvel has hired thus far... [/controversial statement]
Darth Lohr
Well, my expectations at this point shouldn't be too hard to surpass.
