I'll be that guy. I disagree with the general consensus here. Episode 6 was underwhelming to me, and I found myself bored watching it. I am not impressed with the Dathomir witches, nor Thrawn, whose build up for the last 5 episodes didn't pay off for me. The stormtrooper captain (the Phasma stand in?) with the gold face is straight up dumb. Ezra's appearance answered my curiosity of who they would get to play him, but that was about the only reveal in this episode that was worth it to me. Baylon is a very interesting character, what EU would call a dark jedi, but the guy gets far too little screen time.

Yeah I don't dig the Rangers either. I drive a 2000 Ford F150 XLT and the Ranger is almost as big as my truck. Just a tad more narrow, but I just don't like the look. I know a lady who bought a Maverick and she loves the hell out of it. As for camping, I watched a news segment a while back that there is a rising trend where single women our age are increasingly buying small trailers and going on roadtrips.

I'm currently driving my Dad's truck which has low miles on it (I inherited it), and since I don't currently have car payments, I am saving up for the next few years to buy a vehicle. Until recently, I had in mind getting a Hyundai Santa Fe or similar SUV with good mileage. But lately I have been eyeing the new Ford Maverick. Basically it is a mini truck, but seems to have a lot of room and a nice little bed. Plus they get good mileage, too.

Well, got the kitties back from the vet after having them fixed. Tobey is keeping vigil over Tawa. Poor things!

They didn't believe a war hero telling them they need to check something out to prevent another war, which is what annoys me. The New Republic just seems dumb and as inept as the Old Republic. One would have thought they would have learned something from sticking their heads in the sand the first time.

Well I had a problem with the New Republic being unwilling to send a couple cruisers to blast the space ring. Makes you feel like that if the good guys lose, they deserve it.

I totally hear that, but you gotta try. It's never too late, 50 is still young, and you are too talented and smart to just give up. Maybe you just need a solid side gig to get by during the lean times? I'm 51 and some days I feel like shit and I want to just retire and watch movies all day too! I fucking hate my job so I'm working on a management degree so I can get the FUCK out of IT in a couple of years.
