Agreed. For a lot here, it will be like this: The original 3 Indys are like the OT in Star Wars, which are universally loved. Crystal Skull is like the PT, meaning most here hate it. Dial is like the ST, meaning some will like it, some won't, but most will still like the original 3 Indy's better.

I like JFK and RFK (seniors). What I oppose is political dynasties like the Kennedy and Bush families. We are not a monarchy and I have a problem with families (particularly uber rich ones like the aforementioned ones) that think they can pass political power from father to son.

Well my point being is that there are a lot of Millennials in red states too. Millennial age range starts at (depending on source) between 1981-82 to all the way up to the early 2000s. They are the biggest generation next to the Boomers, as well. The reason that is important to note is because Trump supporters are not just Boomers and GenXers. You can't have nearly half the country supporting MAGA ideals without Millennials being in there. I am also going to defend Boomers a bit. Half of them were Hippies and leftists before there were even GenXers and Millennials. I'm a GenXer and I don't resemble that. I think it is a cultural thing more than anything else. This is purely GOP VS Dem. Also, there are plenty of GOP Millennials out there that are as much a pain in the ass as GOP Boomers and GenXers.

Well, the galaxy, and the Empire itself, is vast. We just see a few units in the OT. It would be like assuming all the military in the US was made of a certain group of people based on the people you see in a few regiments or something like that.

From what I remember in the Thrawn trilogy (it's been 25+ years since I read it), there was an anti-alien/pro-human sentiment in the Empire, which made it very rare for someone like Thrawn to make Grand Admiral. As for female officers, there were a few in EU as well (can't remember the names), and one book centered around one (admiral Daala, I think). Mara Jade is another example of a female imperial, who was the Emperor's Hand (an assassin trained in the force...a forerunner of Inquisitors I suppose).

Kitty update. The kitties are still scared and staying in the bathtub for now. They are eating a lot though and using the cat box like they should! I've been playing with them a lot but they are still scared of me when I get too close. I guess I am still just the giant that stole them from Mama at this point.
