  1. I remember Keilan's last day of Kindergarten. I got to school to pick him up at parent pick-up, thinking 'ah, it's summer break, Keilan's gonna be happy, everyone is gonna be happy, oh happy day.' Walk in, 'Happy' by Pharrell is playing on the loud speakers, parents are crying and I'm like 'what the hell is going on?' Walk around the corner, teachers are crying, then I spot Keilan (my son) with his classmates in the hallway hugging his teacher and I see him with the biggest crocodile tears and before I know it I'M CRYING. Keilan is like 'WAH IM NEVER GONNA SEE MS. KIST AGAIN I DONT WANNA GO TO FIRST GRADE I WANNA STAY IN KINDERGARTEN FOREVER'

It was horrible. Every parent. Every teacher. Every student. Not a dry eyeball anywhere.

  2. Honestly, the thing that bugged me most was the fact the 8 of them were surrounded by thousands of dead, who were handicapped by broken ice?

And beforehand, it took the dead 20 seconds to completely swarm them on the ice lake, but once the lake froze back over again, the dead should have swallowed them up and killed them. I understand it's a fantasy series and realism is thrown out the window sometimes, but that.....that shit just doesn't add up. Once that I've froze back over, it should have been a fight that lasted 10 seconds, not a fight that lasted long enough for Danny and her dragons to fly 1000 miles to rescue.

  3. I was born and raised in Lake of the Ozarks, lived there for 26 years. My parents and family still live there, I still go to the lake at least once a month to visit. I've been waiting for this Ozark show for a long time, binged it the day it came out, loved every minute of it. Fantastic show. Love all the Easter eggs Netflix threw in there that only locals really understand. They really did their homework.

  4. $125m+ opening. Rave reviews by critics and fans. I've been keeping my feelings in check with this movie, not getting my hopes up, but other than the new Apes movie next week, this is now my must watch movie of the year for me. And the difference? Marvel touching this film. I'm making plans to watch this movie with my son on Monday.

  5. Watched it this afternoon with the kiddo. I was pleasantly surprised. It ranks above Worlds End and Stranger Tides for me, which were my two least favorite of the Pirates movies. To come up with another story line for a 5th movie, I figured it'd be pretty weak. But even though they stretched the story thin in a few places, I thought it was enjoyable and actually had me looking forward to a 6th Pirates, believe it or not. Great new villian. Javier Bardem was awesome. I really enjoyed the Barbossa story Arch in this one. Honestly, as these Pirates movies have gone on, I actually tend to enjoy Barbossa more than I do Jack.

  6.

I need to get back into this game. I love it. About 10 hours into it. FF14 takes up all my gaming time though.

I have a friend trying to get me into FF14. It looks good but I don't think I would have the time, plus I don't want to add another monthly fee. :|

It's so good. Ridiculously good. The story is top notch.

  7. I had a blast watching this movie. Me and my 6 year old went. I actually think they did a great job with baby groot. He by far got the most laughs in the theater when we went opening night. Marvel knew what they had, marketed baby groot hard, and it paid off.

I agree, the main plot was weak. But what really helped the story of the movie was the side plot with Yondu. I really enjoyed that story and seeing how it wrapped up at the end. It moved me.

  8. War of the Planet of the Apes is by far my most anticipated movie that I wanna see. I adore the first 2 ape movies in this trilogy, and feel the films are entirely underrated and overlooked. Sure, the films have great tomato scores and perform well at the box office but for some reason i feel the films are just a blip when I think they should be nominated for 10 academy awards every year. They're truly epic.

Also, I'm looking forward to King Arthur because Guy Ritchie. I love everything he touches, love his style, I have no shame.

  9. I burned myself out looking for one. I tried so hard getting one for my son for Christmas, so he could play what I played when I was his age. No luck. I still look when I'm in target or Walmart and walk by the electronics area, but I'm so disgusted with the way Nintendo handled this.

  10. My son and I just got back from it. I thought it was alright. Other than a few funny areas of the movie, the first 2 acts were incredibly slow. 3rd act, however, was incredible. I need to watch it again, but I'm baffled by how non interesting this movie was for the most part, but the final act is probably one of the best acts I've seen from a movie in years. That 3rd act was top ****ing shelf.
