started up A Realm Reborn last night on the ps4. this is my first real attempt at an mmorpg. pretty cool so far.

just finished it. logged in maybe 12-13 hours tops, and it was worth the $60 price tag. sure, i wish it was a little longer and i certainly wish the ending was a little better, but clearly ready at dawn have plans for a sequel. game was just fantastic. loved the cinematic pace of the game.

never played the fallout games. i'm sure i should have. i really missed out on a generation of games.

would i prefer my son to grow up to be straight? yes. but would i support him if he was gay and love him just the same? yes.

i don't necessarily have a problem with this woman's opinion. but i just find it a little hypocritical coming from this woman and her background. i can't help but believe that she would be writing an angry blog or news piece right this second if a married couple husband/wife had blogged and written an article about wishing their son/daughter were straight and not gay. i have no sources. i have no facts. but i've seen her a few times on cnn, and she's a hardcore advocate for LGBT.

glad to see Grand Budapest get 2 so far. i hope it sweeps.

anyone played this yet? i'm really enjoying it so far. started off a bit slow, but i've just finished chapter 9 and holy shit, is this game getting crazy good. great story so far. the graphics are the best i've ever seen. the guns and mechanics are fun.

i don't really understand all the ribbing and negative reviews this game is getting. sure, it's very heavy on movies/cut scenes, but so is every metal gear game ever and many other games. the scenes are well done and many are interactive ala god of war. there's no online play, which i don't care about, and while the story starts off slow, it really starts to pick up around chapter 5. if there's one negative about the game, it's the fact that it's supposedly really short. some people are completing it in as little as 7 hours. i figured if i can get about 12 or so hours out of it, and the story keeps building and coming along like it is right now, i'll be happy i spent the $60.

watched it last night. not sure it had to be 3 hours and 30 minutes long, but i really enjoyed it overall. they played quite a bit of chris farley, which made me happy.

Downloaded 3 days ago. Already at level 26. I'm hooked.

I went ahead and bought it as downloadable content afterwards, and unless you have the content at the beginning of the game, it's pretty Worthless. However, the mounts you get to choose from and the throne you get are pretty awesome.

I thought it looked like they wanted to make Interstellar and cross it with one of those fancy Marvel movies that make money, and the only thing they had the rights to was the Fantastic Four, but they found it hokey and embarrassing so they took the concept and made it as gritty and dark as they could.

It was the 'what the fuck' movie of the year for me. In a good way. I was fine with the ending.

I've still not finished. I'm level 14 and loving the hissing wastes!

Other than hinterlands, hissing wastes was oddly my favorite stomping ground. Really enjoyed emerald Graves and Crestwood as well.

Fallow mire and forbidden oasis were by far my least favorite.

I lived in a double wide most my childhood, lived in the sticks, dammed up creeks, walked barefoot in the woods, and fished, raised pigs, chickens, lived off the fat of the land, parents worked HARD for their money, and we managed 2 trips to Walt Disney world (which sea world, mgm, universal studios and busch gardens were mixed in). My parents did alright. And we were all vaccinated.

Beat it.

Not going to lie, I desired a little more from the ending.

Honestly, other than the hinterlands dragon, the 3 I slayed today were pretty painless. I was level 19 and 20 killing the 3 today. Being a knight enchanter mage is almost unfair. I just continuously cast barriers onto my teammates and as long as I'm non-stop bashing on the Dragons with my knight enchanter powers, my self barrier just automatically regenerates.

I slayed 3 dragons today. No big deal. My dragon count is 4 now. hinterlands, storm coast, Crestwood and emerald Graves.

Knight enchanter makes it soooo easy. I'm level 21 right now.

how is everyone doing on trophies? i'm actually trying to hunt a few down myself. i'm playing on xbox one, have 32 trophies and 510/1000 gamer points. still haven't beat the game yet.

still been leveling up and just doing quests. i'm at 19 now. going to get to 20 and give the final episode a shot. i just completed all 3 major additions/remodels to skyhold. kind of bummed out i didn't get an achievement, haha. according to the dialogue in my party and a short conversation with dorian and iron bull, they're supposedly in a relationship together. interesting.

i've never heard of permission to paint. i've painted my apartments/condos over the years and have never had a fuss.

can we change this thread to bitching about apartment living? Great.

so last weekend, i decided to not leave town last minute for a quick visit with family. i'm thrilled i made that decision, because i was woken up sunday morning at about 715am to an upstairs neighbors toilet overflowing (i'm lower level, directly below them). apparently, they used the bathroom overnight, and it overflowed for about, oh............5 or 6 hours.

basically an inch of standing water on anything that wasn't covered in carpet, and my carpet...well, lets just say i have new carpet and linoleum as of this week.

In the beginning, I tried for Cassandra, but failed, and kind of by accident, started something with Josephine. Just last night, finally took the next step in our relationship, lol. Not a sex scene, but we proclaimed love for each other. Josephine is a helpless romantic. It's pretty funny/cheesy.

just unlocked the final quest. i'm at level 17...i figure i'll hit a few more rifts, get to 18 and give this a shot. man it takes forever to level up.

Sorry for the successive posts, but is collecting the red lyrium worth it? I only collect the red lyrium if I'm passing by it. Like the shards, I find the lyrium hunting lame as eff and completely tedious.
