After Archie got a successful update, Nancy Drew is completing the circle by coming back as a Veronica Mars rip-off. Or maybe better called a Riverdale/Veronica Mars rip-off. Im 5 minutes Im and not sure if Ill get to 20 minutes, but there are worse things to rip off than VM.

And not only is it a Riverdale rip-off, it even features a former Fox teen show star as the dad.

It's just cheesy enough to have my interest, but it's right on the line. I'll give a second episode a chance, primarily out of a childhood love of the old Nancy Drew books. I devoured all of the old ones and the old Hardy Boys books the summer between third and fourth grade.

Okay, it’s gone from bad cheesy to good cheesy. This is just an outright horror series

I'm surprised that Icy isn't watching, or at least isn't replying if she is watching

It's completely ridiculous and sometimes cringe worthy, but I feel like that's the genre.

Yeah, I mean that everything good and bad is just because that’s part of the genre. It has to be a little cheesy, but you can’t do the genre and be completely serious with every moment.

I watched episode 3.
1&2 had expired from YouTubeTV.
Anyway, I found out today that the job search continues, so that ghost I dont fully understand yet had better get evil-er.
Its slow. But Im planning on giving it a couple more episodes.

Halfway through episode 4, I remembered that Riverdale started with the same plot as Twin Peaks, too.
OMG, I just got shown a Truth ad about juuling.
And there is prominent Gushers product placement.

I do appreciate how sensible Nancy is when in the face of supernatural occurrences. That being said, theyre playing ghostly Blues Clues.
