The Human Torch
In short? Tomorrowland sells you a utopian future all the while undermining their sale with dystopian ideals. That can be a valid transposition, but here it's professed in a voice uncertain of what it is actually saying. The result is a pretty film absent of depth. Worth a ticket price, unlikely worthy of franchise fandom as there isn't much need to return to this playground.
Jacen123
And I do have my Damon Lindelof hate-blinders on, so I probably couldn't attest to anything with 100% sureness...Well, maybe you should take them lindel-off. Just for a second or two. Just avoid looking directly at his scripts while you do.
ShadowDog
You know ... this didn't really feel very Lindel-offy. I mean, all the questions raised were answered.
Jacen123
So he left no lingering Cuse, then?
The Human Torch
Mine was a question, btw. Just wondering if I got the gist of the reviews down. Haven't seen it yet. Thought maybe I'd double feature with Ant-Man for a belated Father's Day.
