  1. The next game, BTW, will have a set start time. So hope to see you there!

so. when is the start time start?

The start time will be when the next SJ starts.

I assume it will be announced in the main thread.

What date will be the start of the next SJ?

    Who will be our co-hosts?

  2. I was reciently reminded of this song, and woke up this morning with it playing in my head. I don't particularly like it because it's depressing, and strikes a personal chord with me, but the music is beautiful, and the lyrics equally so.

...And it coincidentally coincided, in a way, with Bonnie13's last entry in the collaboration story. So, here is my entry: Neil Diamond's "Morningside"

For those who don't know what it sounds like, you tube has a version of Neil singing it live (didn't really like what pictures they used but was looking for the music part of it). The words strike a familar chord with me.

My dad had died, and I did his funeral. The only people that came was me, my husband (whom I had divorced...more on that later), and my friend. That was it. I drove the car out to Riverside National and they thought more was coming, I explained that this was it.

Now I had divorced my husband, and went on to live my life. He had passed away after being on life support for about three months. He had no family. He was buried in an unmarked grave. I did have a memorial service for him though at my church. We did not have any children. So, I can relate to the aloneless that the song speaks of. (And hey, I went to Morningside High, btw)

  3. Robot NumberSix touched Mark's right hand

Discovering it was cold as ice

    Blood circulation had ceased flowing

His demise occurred during the night.

There was a smile upon his face

That happened when Mark took his last breath

Thinking deep in his heart about Rose

His one and only true love indeed

  4. Phenomenal Woman

Pretty women wonder where my secret lies.

I'm not cute or built to suit a fashion model's size

But when I start to tell them,

    They think I'm telling lies.

    I say,

It's in the reach of my arms

    The span of my hips,

    The stride of my step,

    The curl of my lips.

    I'm a woman

    Phenomenally.

    Phenomenal woman,

    That's me.

    I walk into a room

Just as cool as you please,

    And to a man,

    The fellows stand or

    Fall down on their knees.

    Then they swarm around me,

    A hive of honey bees.

    I say,

It's the fire in my eyes,

And the flash of my teeth,

    The swing in my waist,

And the joy in my feet.

    I'm a woman

    Phenomenally.

    Phenomenal woman,

    That's me.

    Men themselves have wondered

    What they see in me.

    They try so much

    But they can't touch

    My inner mystery.

When I try to show them

They say they still can't see.

    I say,

It's in the arch of my back,

    The sun of my smile,

    The ride of my breasts,

    The grace of my style.

    I'm a woman

    Phenomenally.

    Phenomenal woman,

    That's me.

    Now you understand

Just why my head's not bowed.

I don't shout or jump about

Or have to talk real loud.

    When you see me passing

It ought to make you proud.

    I say,

It's in the click of my heels,

    The bend of my hair,

    the palm of my hand,

    The need of my care,

    'Cause I'm a woman

    Phenomenally.

    Phenomenal woman,

    That's me.
