Guest
In ‘96 or ‘97 my friend’s older brother came out as a senior in high school. This started a rush of outIngs or near-outings - guys who hung out solely with the gay guys but never really came out fully, but everyone knew it. On topic, the show went pretty dark for what it is. And I respect that they didn’t go for easy stereotypes. The hot boyfriend / jock wasn’t a total a-hole, etc. I also liked the end reveal. Overall, a solid B - great ideas, great execution for the most part, but a lot of it rang hollow. Mostly because I just didn’t care about any character other than Vincent

I’m not saying he was a great guy, I’m just saying he wasn’t the stereotypical high school jock d-bag. He was nuanced and not a 90’s teen movie jock.
