Darth Krawlie
I'm also thinking maybe a gallon or two of ice cream to go with the gallon of whiskey.

Guest
My favorite pizza place has a great Mexican pizza. Also an amazing BLT pizza that's basically a BLT wrapped in pizza crust. So good. Unfortunately it's 40 miles away so we never get it, but we used to live super close.
Zathras
Mexican pizza rocks. BLT pizza? Sounds yummy.
Jacen123
There has been a Hungry Howie's in both of the two cities I have most recently lived in (for a total of 17 years) and I had no idea they were a pizza place.

Howie’s is good for chain pizza, but there’s nothing like those little hole in the wall places. Around here Detroit style is king, tho.
Zathras
I've never had Detroit style. IS it similar to Chicago?
Iceheart
Not really. It’s baked in square pans, so it has these really crispy corners. It’s a very doughy crust, but it’s not deep dish. Also, it goes cheese then sauce, for the crispy crusts.
Destiny Skywalker
We kind of do a modified Detroit in the Chicago area. Its round but we cut it into squares. But I think the crust is Detroit-style. That's actually what most Chicago kids grow up on. Deep dish is special occasion pizza.
Iceheart
I know exactly what you're talking about, and that's not Detroit style. The crust has to be baked in the square pan to get the crispy crust edges for it to be Detroit style. Think Jet's Pizza, if you had that. I have no idea how much of a reach that franchise has. I never understood the square cut pizza, but then, I like crust, a lot of people prefer it because it's crustless.
