Ms. Spam 1,827
https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/330-Joe-Blanks-St-San-Antonio-TX-78237/102521052_zpid/ The houses next door are far older and do not have good upkeep and the property taxes are freaking me out. And it's in an area that is up and coming so I may never get a house like this at this price. It's closer to school. There's two parks and the place across the street is a green belt. It's not close to anything though for shopping that I could see. I don't know. But i need more room.
Guest
Looks really nice! I hope you get it.
Iceheart 1,899
That is ADORABLE! My fingers are crossed for you! I live a good 10-15 minute drive from any shopping, and you get used to it. You just plot out one big trip each week to hit multiple stores at once, mostly.
Ms. Spam 1,827
My sister will be living with me and she's strictly bus line only. We will see. HA!
Iceheart 1,899
Is it on a bus line? Honestly, not a lot of places to go will probably be good for her.
Ms. Spam 1,827
Yeah. I don't want her to drive yet. She is getting over a DWI. HAHA. Not in my car is the answer to can I go out?
Metropolis 694
A Craftsman like that around here would go for almost double.
Zathras 467
That looks like a nice home, and hope you get it Spam.
Destiny Skywalker 1,883
That is super cute! Did you get it? I see it is Pending.
Ms. Spam 1,827
I didn't get it. My realtor and I were playing phone tag but if financing falls through I am next up. HA. It's too much to want to move in my schedule right now anyways. But that price and the 10 year home warranty was too much of a good deal.
Iceheart 1,899
Awww, my fingers are still crossed for you that the first deal falls through!
Ms. Spam 1,827
New adorableness that I like a lot but not with AC window units. https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/1326-W-Rosewood-Ave-San-Antonio-TX-78201/26127926_zpid/?
Iceheart 1,899
Window units are an easy, if not cheap, fix. You could make putting in AC a condition of purchase if you negotiate well.
Ms. Spam 1,827
It's just so retro. I showed it to my sister and she said, ew. HAHAHA
Iceheart 1,899
It's definitely a fixer-upper. The floors look pretty nice, but I'd be re-doing everything else if I bought it.
Jedigoat 342
The backyard looks big! That would be a big plus for me.
Iceheart 1,899
Same. You could even put in an above-ground pool and deck with that space!
Darth Ender 485
I am just amazed at the price! That would be double here in Denver.

Ms. Spam 1,827
OMG I would love to live in Seattle with my sister but I can't on a teachers salary. It's why I live where I live. More buying power. I will keep searching! HA!
Zathras 467
Window units are an easy, if not cheap, fix. You could make putting in AC a condition of purchase if you negotiate well.Personally, I would spend more and go with ductless AC, because it would help with resale in most cases. Carrier and Mitsubishi have a good reputation for ductless. Home Depot has a variety of brands and can install for you.
Ms. Spam 1,827
This one has been added to the list but it's EVEN smaller. https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/111-Sage-Dr-San-Antonio-TX-78228/26240744_zpid/?
Iceheart 1,899
That's like the opposite of the other one. The inside looks quite nice already, but that exterior needs a lot of love.
Ms. Spam 1,827
Yeah, totes needs lots of yard love. And some curb appeal. I love the storage room in the back of the yard.
Iceheart 1,899
You could turn it into a feral colony house
