It was VERY well done. I always wonder, who exactly are these undecided voters that are swayed by tv commercial.

Cerina
Voting shouldn't require pants. Like, I need to go vote. There's a damn near empty polling place like 2 miles from me. But I don't want to put on pants to go do it. OR A BRA!

You should totally go in a bathrobe, fuzzy slippers, and have curlers in your hair. It's the slacktivist way.
Metropolis
Normally I won't vote for the smaller obscure offices if I haven't heard if any of the candidates. For the soil and management offices the was a candidate whose first name was Karen. I thought that this being a rough year for women actually named Karen I voted for her. Low information voters. People who vote because it’s “what you do” but don’t follow anything.

I always research the office and candidates, but I have a bias against bad websites. If you can’t manage a decent website in this day and age, how can I trust you with anything? Destiny Skywalker
We have a voter's information pamphlet that gets sent to our houses. In the primaries especially, I am really judgy about grammar and spelling, or incomplete info. I also like it because they get to list their experience. If you have zero elected experience, I am not voting for you for governor.

I walked by the meager book selection at my grocery store, where they tend to sell NTY best-sellers and housewife fiction... and my eye caught one author's name: Karen White. And I thought-- damn... that is a seriously unfortunate name...
Cerina
Voted today at the church across the street. In and out. No line. No issues. Everyone had a mask.
Ms. Spam
It's crazy. I expected lines but nothing. It's dead at a lot of voting locations.
Spider-Man
Voted this morning, all masked, slight line, everyone was jovial. One dude was masked up with a Stars and Stripes design that had a gun wielding bald eagle cartoon on it... he was the only person who’s preference seemed apparent. To be fair, I also wore a mask with flags and eagles on it (no guns, tho), and I voted Biden. One old guy came into my precinct with an NRA hat and no mask, they gave him no grief. And a coworker came in from the polls yesterday wearing a Trump mask... I'd never wear anything political like that to work, so I was pretty shocked. Zathras
Yeah, political talk, like religion, always makes for a fun work environment.
Ms. Spam
Some lady in one of the schools near me was fired because she wore a "Black Lives Matter" facemask. I wear fun masks like I have floral and dinosaur and Texas ones but I don't do politics at school.
Zathras
Religious and political speak should be added to Title IX. I think when you start preaching religion or politics in the work place, it is as harassing as sex talk or ass grabbery.
Guest
I used to work with a Tea Party Republican who lived on Fox News and assumed everyone else was the same way. Mainly because we worked with a lot of middle aged women and they all felt that way, on my specific team at least. I was in my early thirties and there was a woman in her late twenties on our team, and our supervisor was a Latina who was in charge of diversity and inclusion for our facility. You don't get far when you preach right wing politics in that type of environment, but she was also okay with staying in her job.
Zathras
Yeah. Gotta love hypocrites who never put their political ideology where their mouth is, and work in a profession that is supposedly antithetical to their politics. I have a coworker and she works for a business college. Every other FB post is extreme leftist stuff about old white males are the problem this, boomers did this to millennials that, I'm woke because I did yoga with my white lesbian friend today, capitalism is evil that, life is so hard, I'm a victim of (fill in the blank) today, we need to become a complete socialist country through riots, etc. Now, I am left of center myself, but 90% of her friends are work friends, yet she is completely tone deaf to the fact she says things on FB that completely alienates at least half her work friends on FB.
