Darth Ender 485
Didn't WWE just donate like $15-20m to some political organization linked to the FL governor the day WWE was deemed essential?
Darth Krawlie 6,243
Linked to both the governor and Trump. I'm happy I don't financially support this company anymore and only stream what few shows I watch.

I'm happy I don't financially support this company anymore and only stream what few shows I watch.I love watching old wrestling too much... My user name is my firstname.lastname@gmail.com---im sure you can figure this out. PW: Maxpower19 Now I feel less guilty supporting them. Stream is limited to one device at a time so dont give this shit out.
Metropolis 790
All the wrestling dirt sheets have been calling for WWE to stop putting on these shows. I think they forgot there would be consequences especially since there is no money from live events and ppvs. The Indies are pretty much dead right now. I'm sure some of them will be back when they start up live shows.
Darth Krawlie 6,243
I wonder why they're not demanding AEW stop running empty building shows.

Lord Darth Hunter 280
I also read that the contracts WWE has with NBC and FOX stipulate there must be a certain number of live shows broadcast per year. If they dont reach that number the contracts could be voided. Would NBC and FOX do that knowing what WWE is up against during this pandemic? I guess Vince is not willing to take that chance. Metropolis 790
Well NBC Universal is the USA Network. They are not thinking about getting rid of the WWE. Fox? Who knows.
Tank 3,955
But live shows need CROWDS. The can say the WWE workers are essential, but the crowd? That just seems idiotic to let that many people come together during a pandemic.
Metropolis 790
The WWE needs shows. Other than merchandise, and the network, it's their only source of revenue right now. Not having the crowds is visually off putting, but they will do shows as long as they can without them.
Lord Darth Hunter 280
WWE has decided to not run live weekly shows, probably due to all the bad press they were getting. They will begin taping two editions of their shows beginning Saturday, April 25.
Metropolis 790
The networks told the WWE that their contract wouldn't be affected by them taping shows.
Darth Krawlie 6,243
Curtis Axel, the worst Intercontinental Champion in recent memory and one of the worst ever, was cut as well.
Darth Ender 485
Curtis Axel, the worst Intercontinental Champion in recent memory and one of the worst ever, was cut as well.I actually liked him. He was never eliminated in the RR!

Metropolis 790
Okay so now the WWE has released some talent that could come back to bite them. Braun Strowman Aleister Black Buddy Murphy Ruby Riott Lana(okay not her) Santana Garret
Darth Krawlie 6,243
yeah man some of these are weird
Grogu 0
Definitely wouldn't be surprised to see Braun and Black picked up quickly. Not sure why the WWE didn't give Black a shot after coming back from his injury. I feel like he had some good momentum before he got hurt. Odd with Ruby Riott, not sure why they re-united the Riott squad in the first place. Will Lana join Rusev? I hope not.
Brett 249
Obviously losing Braun ****ing sucks, but I'm guessing there was also some kind of behind the scenes problems, considering how much of a fan favorite he is. Ruby Riott... that one sucks as well because they probably axed her to make room for more eye-candy wrestlers. Guess I should just be happy Nikki Cross didn't get dropped during her hiatus. Metropolis 790
So there were more cuts. Names most of us have seen, but really were never going anywhere. The bigger names I guess would be Killian Dain and Breezango. I don't get the Breezango release, but only because i thought they should have been brought up months ago to bolster a week tag division. Speaking of tag teams they released Ever-Rise. A few months ago i wouldn't have batted an eye at that, but they've been pushed the last couple of months. And there was a bit of personality there! Darth Krawlie 6,243
I loved Ever-Rise. Everything they did was entertaining. This nick khan guy sucks. I wish I liked AEW more so I can fully switch off WWE, but alas. NXT is still solid enough.
Metropolis 790
Add Bray Wyatt to the list. I'm not going to lie, i don't think it's the worst move. Ass much as I've seen fans playing the whole "wwe didn't know how to handle his character", Wyatt's ideas only had so much of a shelf life.
