Soros Puppet for the Globalist Corporate Oligarchy Greta Thunberg is named Time Person of the Year, joining Adolf Hitler (twice) and Josef Stalin.

Dan rather tweeted: Cue snark and vitriol from those cheerleading the destruction of our planet. The youth have every right to pass moral judgement on insufficient urgency & action. They've no choice but to live in what we leave.

If you want to get a good litmus test of someone's character today, see how quick they are to bully a passionate sixteen year old rather than offering literally anything of value instead.

Agree with D-Ray, but also, I didn't know people really still cared about Time magazine.

People REAAALLLLLY care about Person of the Year for some reason.  Trump cares more about the Space Force right now, though.

I suspect it's a validation thing.

News, politics, and entertainment has turned into such a team sport in the past decade.  In the same way that Taylor Swift has an army of fans defending everything she does, politicians and activists have drone armies just the same.

Who DOESN'T care more about the Space Force, honestly. That alone should propel him into re-election and abolishing the 22nd amendment.

I work at the already long established space-related branch of the government, and I can assure you that literally everyone here rolls their eyes at the mere mention of that.

Everyone is ignoring the fact that Trump wants a space force because he was briefed about the aliens.

Get it straight. Independence Day is what Mathesar would call "historical documents".

It is surprising that Trump never focus tested Space Force. It does conjure up thoughts of those cheap Star Wars wannabe toys at Kmart.

Greta is on a roll. I just like how people cry. It's like provoking a reaction by saying you hate New England Pats because...

Well my wife lost it on Greta when she found out that she's skipping school to stomp for climate change.

Not over the fact that she's catching rides with rich people on their yachts to go to Argentina or something to protest climate change? Or the fact that her mother is using her to help promote her book? I've seen a lot of crying about that.

Shes homeschooled. As a former homeschool kid, I can tell you that thats just something shes saying to get attention. Homeschooling is done anywhere and everywhere, and actual sit-down learning only takes a couple of hours a day. She has plenty of time to climate strike and still keep up with her learning.

Theyre finally writing about it - Trump is tweeting his anger at being passed over for a teenage activist. Dude is waaaaay too into being on the cover of Time.

I couldn't be more thrilled with how bent out of shape people get over this. Someone on FB posted a pic from the 30s and said "Well, they voted for HITLER once, so...."

Homeschooling is illegal in Sweden. She is taking time off from school.

Home school in Sweden is banned, with exceptions. It’s possible Greta’s family has the exceptions, given both their travel and her Aspergers. [shrug] I dunno.

Sigh. Yet another thing Trumpets said he was joking about, only for it to be an angle they then pursue. If anyone is like, oh yeah what else? The Flores Agreement and indefinite detention would be another.

Based on the information I can find, she's graduated from compulsory education
