I wonder at times if the news being ON Trump for his bull**** earlier would have done any good. I find people all over the dials on radio and TV NOW saying what I've felt all along and calling people out for lies, but it isn't making ANY difference.

Things said by members of congress during the Clinton impeachment cut both ways.  Bringing those soundbites up is wonderful for pointing fingers and for each side to claim they are more consistent than the other, but it has absolutely zero to do with whether President Trump did what he's accused of, and whether he should be removed from office as a result.

Depending on what happens in the Senate we may see a rebellion next year. HAHAHAHA. My niece just posted a bunch of really dumb Trump 2020 stuff. Like do you even understand that you were assaulted and you're supporting a person who encourages assaulting women?  But she did post a meme that is pretty damn accurate about what's going to happen in the Senate.

Yeah, I dont expect anything but a total sweeping under the rug, regardless of any wrongdoing. The partisan politics have reached ridiculous levels.

...and like the copy on posters of old serials:

"Watch--As Pelosi tries to grandstand after each day's events!"

"Howl--as The Hill, Sam Seder, MSNBC, and CNN claim every witness on the Democrats' side was devastating to Trump!!"

"Shriek--as Sean Hannity creates 50 new derogatory nicknames for anyone not supporting Trump/Republicans!"

"Gasp--as Rush Limbaugh and Tomi Lahren cry this is an attempt by the Left to overthrow the government!"

Yawn.

This whole thing is dumb but then I'm still in shock that Trump is president from election 2016.

So Mitch McConnells rules for the trial are DUMB. I can't stand another GOP person saying that this is bad indictments and they're giving this trial lip service. Nothing passes his desk to be voted on. The way the act and a lot of them were around for Clinton.

It's over. I wish I was still on Twitter to see what I assume is the Republican bashing of Romney.

Pretty much a straight party vote. Rooney actually split his votes in both articles.
