Iceheart
Are we watching? So far, not bad. That is a LOT of aerobics.
Odine
I've given up on AHS halfway through the Satanic cult Apocalypse series.
Iceheart
This is going in a COMPLETELY different direction. It's promising. You may want to think about it.
Guest
This is the first one that's interested me. Is it available on any streaming service or do I have to pay for it?
Tank
It's cable, so you have to pay. I haven't watched it yet. AHS is kinda like X-Men and Terminator movies to me-- even when they are garbage I'm still in.
Iceheart
If you have cable, you can stream whole episodes from FX's website. Or DVR it. I can personally confirm YouTubeTV has it, too. But Netflix and Hulu won't get it until this time next year.
Guest
Amazoned is with leftover birthday gift cards. Is Emma Roberts the Jamie Lee Curtis of her generation?
Good God a Bear
I watched the first episode so far. In my opinion, it was horrible. But I'm going to give the next episode a try before I make my final decision.
Guest
As of the first episode, it was a solid version of a second or third tier 80s slasher film. It's not Friday the 13th, but it seems like it would hold up against Sleepaway Camp.
Guest
Episode 2 is delightfully weird. I can tell where they’re going with the camp owner, but the rest is weird enough to be fun and mysterious.
Tank
I'm living for the music. Thus far they are doing the usual, hitting all the tropes. Next couple episodes they will subvert them. Then it will get ridiculous and chock full of cameos.
Iceheart
Im glad they seem to be getting back to the shows aerobics roots next week. And Richard Ramirez is totally Kylo Ren.

Good God a Bear
Okay this show has one more episode and then it loses me
Odine
Your reactions are not making me regret my decision to pass on this season.
Tank
I hope the weird turn is coming soon-- there's a reason Slasher movies are short. 3 episodes of stumbling around the woods and it's getting messy already.
Iceheart
Aaaaand there it is. btw, it took me a solid 3.5 episodes to realize thats the teacher from Glee in a terrible wig and porn stache.
Tank
That was a plot twist, sure— but they always do that. I’m talking about how 4-5 episodes in it turns out to be something different than expected. I’m still struggling to see how long they can be running around the woods at night. That said, my pal Jennifer always has the best violence in her episodes, (Imma name droppin douche!)
Iceheart
I drop your name all the freaking time, so I certainly cant judge you for doing it. I can totally see them running around in the dark woods for the whole season, and having that twist be extended flashbacks. They ran around in a dark bunker with extended flashbacks being the meat of the story last season, after all. GETTING INTO SPOILER TERRITORY I think Richards Satanic resurrection is going to play more into it than Margaret being the real serial killer. Good God a Bear
It seems it is always the Halloween episode where the twist occurs. But I don't see how they can have a Halloween episode in a story about summer camp, so who knows....let me know if I should tune back in. I'm going to keep recording in case i find out it does turn around.
Iceheart
Theyre hitting the flashbacks hard, I could definitely see them revealing some relevant piece of backstory that just happens to be on Halloween. Im totally treating this as a brainless diversion of a show, so Im in no matter how bad it gets, you can count on me for updates!
Iceheart
And theres the twist twist. Its basically Hotel in the woods. God bless Cody Fern. They give him the campiest damn stuff and he just goes for it.
Tank
As crazy as this show gets, it's admirable that they stick to their ghost rules. So my guess is next we'll jump ahead a year (or 34) to a new batch of campers/counselors haunted by the ghosts of 84?
Iceheart
Even crazier! I am SUPER excited to see the Billy Idol concert.
Tank
I was kinda right! I should work in TV! I actually really liked this episode. This dude they have playing Ramirez is amazing. That said, a mid season rally is common for AHS right before it goes from being clumsy to full on off the rails.
