Here's the thing though. This isn't Vader's story. Vader had six movies to tell the story you're talking about, It's been done. It's established. This story is Obi-Wan's. As much as a big character as

Agree with Tank on the “nope never.” If Vader finds out about Luke in this series, we should all just cancel our Disney+ subscriptions and never watch SW again.  I’ve heard Filoni in past intervi

Darth Vader. I ‘get’ the Inquisitors but hate the concept of it. Darth Vader hunted down and destroyed the Jedi Knights….by outsourcing the work to these guys.

That’s actually the biggest thing I’d love for this series to “fix” but I can’t see how. There’s no way around “your father wanted you to have this when you were old enough, but your uncle wouldn’t allow it.”

May as well have Obi Wan drop by Leia’s and leave some old videos of a beautiful, kind and sad Padme for her to watch and fix that one too.

Seriously though, this show potentially could fix a lot of inconsistencies between the PT and OT.

Ghost Qui-gon will be a guest cameo in the last episode. Like Luke showing up in Mando.

I bet Obi-wan doesn’t use his lightsaber until the end.

I wonder if Jedi would use their light sabers for mundane tasks. Like pruning their bonsai trees or what have you. I can see Obi wan doing that. Lightsabers for manscaping would be a bit risky though

I'm smelling prop bets. Let's take odds on cameos and scenarios. I'll give 2-1 on a Qui Gon force ghost cameo.

There would have to be a Yoda one. I don’t think physically but I bet we see them communicate somehow.

But yeah Qui Gon for sure.

He probably leaves for a booty call. People often forget their commitments when that happens.

I really really REALLY hope we don't see Ahsoka. Because for someone who wasn't around through the whole OT she sure would be appearing a lot everywhere else.

Considering how they want crossovers with all their shows, wouldn’t be surprised if she shows up.

But I’d say a safe bet that someone from Andor will show up as well with that show coming out this year too and set in a similar time period.

I'm assuming Jimmy Smits as Bail will show up in both Obi-Wan AND Andor. We don't know yet when Ahsoka's show takes place, but at this point, they need to explain why she was AWOL for the OT.

We might even see Grogu if there's a flashback to the temple purge. Obi-Wan was there for a bit of it.

Maul is around, but everything indicated by Maul in TCW and Rebels seems to cover the only times he and Obi-Wan meet.

Some sort of contact with Yoda-- maybe.

Ghost Qui-Gon for sure.

Now that they have Temura Morrison back in the mix, I wouldn't be shocked to see Rex. Cody died in ROTS right?

I have a feeling that I’ll watch this with my kids, but otherwise would probably never watch it.

I could see an Andor crossover, especially if Organa is involved in getting Obi-Wan off Tatooine. It seems like an especially easy way to connect the shows.

I don’t think he died in RoTS actually (not 100%) so I’d be pretty shocked if he doesn’t turn up now.

Was just thinking that while I wouldn’t rule out some cameo from her, when we do see her around this time period it was in Rebels, which is set after this. From recollection in Rebels she only just learns about what happened to Anakin, so unlikely she ever bumps into Obi Wan.

Watching the trailer again I'm scratching my head about the Grand Inquisitor. It's not like they invented the species for Rebels. The Grand Inquisitor was from Utapau. The species already had screen time in Revenge of the Sith. That's going to bother me until i see the show.

This guy doesn't seem to have the Utapau shark teeth.  I wonder if it is the same guy, now.

I mean, they seemed to hang a sign on that, I assumed it was Obi-Wan or Yoda.

It couldn’t have been. They were not in the temple during the attack. Yoda was in Kashyyyk and Obi Wan in Utapua.

Since the people involved in Disney Star Wars don’t understand the original 6 movies at all, Anakin will have saved Grogu.
