Poe Dameron
... ... ... WTF? They made a good Transformers film? And a spinoff at that? Did I slip into a parallel universe again? I was just getting used to the last one.
Odine
Nah man gotta be fake newz. I mean, you ARE in the Upside Down so anything is possible. Im sure if you were 15 you'd love it. But Bumblebee as an objectively "good" movie!? Getthefuckouttahere
Guest
Just skimming, but it looks like part if the reason for the rating is that it's better than the others and therefore exceeds all expectations.
Iceheart
I've been reading reviews on various sites that say it is actually a good movie, especially for what it is - one review called it "ET with a Transformer."
Metropolis
No Michael Bay. Nuff said?
Tank
No Bay, passable script, and a crapton of G1 love. So, yeah, basically what people actually wanted from a Transformers film.
Guest El Chalupacabra
So, is this a prequel, and depending on how well it does, a possible lead in to a Xmen First Class style soft reboot?

Guest El Chalupacabra
In that case, ten year old me hopes this movie really is as good as critics and people are saying and they do a soft reboot, then. I like that Bumblebee is actually a VW. It doesn't have to be a full on G1 adaptation, either. Just something that resembles it enough, and isn't the Rock 'em Sock 'em Bayformers we've had for over a decade. Oh, and I hope Peter Cullen and Frank Welker get some voice over time. Now, if only they can do the same for GI Joe, too...
Brett
great, we'll be getting transformers until jesus flies home.
Jacen123
I saw it the other day. It was not only easily the best of the Transformers live action movies, but it was an all-around fun and pleasant movie. It borrowed heavily from aspects of ET and the Iron Giant, but if they continue in this vein, I would be glad to go see additional movies in the series. Guest El Chalupacabra
I've been so busy lately that I haven't seen ANY of the films I wanted to see this season. Bumblebee is one of them, Bohemian Rhapsody and Aquaman are a couple others I want to see while still in the theater.
Iceheart
Ditto that. I havent seen a movie in the theater since the last Avengers movie, and its not for lack of interest in the current offerings.
