Yeah, she's a peach. $15 minimum wage, free college tutition, free healthcare, but no idea how to pay for it.

And every interview I've seen with her is pure gold. I hope she sticks around a while.

A politician who makes promises that they have no clue how to keep, or who want to spend money without a clue how to pay for it. Seems pretty standard for Washington.

All I know is that I don't want this gal to go away. Every word out of her mouth is comedy gold.

It may be comedy gold to you, but too many Democrats support her go-nowhere socialist ideas, including many in the media...nevermind how their lifestyles are only possible from the "evil capitalism" they shake their collective pom-poms at everytime Cortez gives one of her elementary school debate class-level speeches.

What hurts her the most is right now she is just a candidate. She doesn't really have "people" yet. She's left to her item devices and speaks "her truth". Which for the past few weeks have been some truth sprinkled with a lot of things that she's thinks are true, but aren't.

OMG this girl doesn't get it. People pay attention to you because you say things that are out there. The irony is she talked about running a train on progressivism after talking about a fake nude of her. Consider yourself a star. What female celeb doesn't have a fake nude on the internet?

You don't think the conservative apoplexy and fits over her are disproportionate over what she actually does? A smear campaign based on the fact she danced in college? Come on.

I'm not saying she's anything close to a brilliant politician, or even qualified-- but what she is, legitimately, is representative of people who have no voice in our government.

I think people like hitting an easy target. Problem is, these days all it does is raise one's profile and make them stronger.

That actually seems to be instant political mythology. The "smear campaign" appears to basically be one guy on Twitter posting it and calling her a nit-wit. It hadn't gone viral or anything. No one of any name had picked it up and re-tweeted. Pretty much everyone first heard about it in the context of "conservatives use dance to attack Alexandria Ocasio-Cortz" and suddenly it was national news. Us on the right were like "What did we do?"

Basically, we're going back to what I said a week ago. Twitter isn't news.

I always kinda scratch my head at the notion that the Democrat party isn't far enough to the left to give a voice to their people.

Either way, sheesh, has it ever ended well when someone stormed into power representing "people who have no voice in government"?
