Zerimar Nyliram
Agreed. Tartakovsky's Grievous gave me chills! Then I go to see Revenge of the Sith and he's a big dumbass. Huge letdown.
Stallion
I hated the change too, now grevious us more cobra commander than a threat.
Guest El Chalupacabra
+3 on Grievous in the original Clone Wars animated miniseries. That was the only version of him I actually saw as a serious threat to jedi and actually liked. In ROTS he seemed like a time filling mini boss, which he was, and I felt that they killed off the wrong villain (Dooku) early on in the movie. But in the Clone Wars minisodes, he seemed an unstoppable beast. I also wished the set up of Mace Windu crushing his lungs paid off more than the awkward cough in the movie. Also there should have been more of an ongoing Mace VS Grievous arc in TCW.
Stallion
Finished season 4 all caught up, it's not that great. Mandalor was solved to easily, should have had another episode or two. The rest of the season kinda bored me, though the loth wolves are interesting.
Tank
Season 4 is on a midseason break. New episodes soon!
Stallion
I hope it's better than the first half. I have faith somewhat with palpatine shown in the trailer.
Lord Darth Hunter
With the Solo trailer out now and Glover getting props on the internet for Lando, it reminded me of how one of the best things about Rebels has been Lando's appearances. Just wanted to share.
Zerimar Nyliram
I wonder when the Blu-ray box set of the entire series will be released so I can binge-watch it?

Lord Darth Hunter
Big time event happened on the return of Rebels tonight. Won't spoil it here for anyone who hasn't seen it.
Metropolis
I liked the Rogue One reference. Though I find it hard to believe that Thrawn would have to pitch the Tie Defenders over the Death Star. Maybe in Tarkin's mind the Death Star would seem like a waste, but in the Emperor's mind it seems like a no brainier.
Guest El Chalupacabra
Too bad for the Empire they didn't have TIE defenders defending the Death Star.
Kyrian
Mass production of TIE Defenders, expensive as it would be, would be significantly cheaper than building the Death Star. So does this mean that Pryce is directly responsible for the construction of the Death Star and the establishment of the Tarkin Doctrine? Is that even a thing in the Disney canon? Good God a Bear
It's the Empire...why couldn't they have done both?
Tank
So we going to talk abou Filoni not pulling a Filoni? Cause man... it was telegraphed AF but I didn't expect it so quick!
Ryn
Still, it was confirmed off-screen. Just a few more frames engulfed by the explosion would've been emotionally perfect to me.

Guest El Chalupacabra
...and time travel.Seriously? UGHHH!!!!! Star Wars doesn't need time travel. I hope it was just some magical force BS for a one off episode a la Clone Wars' episode Sacrifice, and not "let's sling-shot a Y-wing fighter around a star to change history and bring Kanaan and Ahsoka back to life" BS. Does it have something to do with that sinking Jedi temple or Malachor v?
Metropolis
I actually enjoyed the Back to the Future element of saving Ahsoka.

Lord Darth Hunter
Unfortunately, El Chupacabra, that is exactly what happened. Also, I wasn't sure what was going on with Palpatine's magic mirror and the blue fire.
Tank
Yeah, I didn't like it. I also hated the Mortis story from CW.

Also, I wasn't sure what was going on with Palpatine's magic mirror and the blue fire. Haven't seen the episode yet, but that sounds disappointing. Never thought I would ever see Star Wars time travel stories. That said, as long as they don't have Rey, Finn and Poe pop up in the series finale using a holocron to meet the crew of the Ghost, a la Star Trek Enterprise These are the Voyages-style, I can deal with a time travel story....I guess. Hopefully this time travel stuff will end up being some force dream sequence or something. Or just ignored with what time they have left. Was the episode at least kind of good?
