Metropolis
All this hubbub over a scar, yet no one seems to have a problem with Ren's mask shows up in the movie. I mean where the hell did that thing come from. The SW Universe has one hell of a lost and found department.

Odine
Is bacta snorted or injected? Will The Last Jedi answer that question?Pretty sure it's the stuff you get submerged into. Thought the tubes were oxygen But recreationally I reckon it'd be a little blue pill
DANA-kin Skywalker
Little blue pill? Gross, that would mean that Luke had a boner when his sister kissed him
Jacen123
I'm pretty sure that Luke took the red pill, not the blue one.

Mara Jade Skywalker
Yeah...I know. I could have swore that was Vader's helmet. The eyes look like Vader's, not Kylo's. But after reading trailer breakdowns, apparently I'm wrong. *shrug*
Guest
It'd probably be a new helmet, so it wouldn't look the same. But it distinctly has silver, so there's no way it was Vader's.
Justus
About "gray" Jedi behavior whether a character adopts that in E8 or not: the entire point of Yoda warning Luke against that which he was taking with him into the Dagobah cave was that emotions of evil / revenge / hatred would be his downfall--a line he almost crossed at the end of the ROTJ duel. Luke rejecting an emotion that historically destroys lives (and saving himself) leaves no room for any revisionist spin on character (because, you know, many modern characters must be conflicted to the point of not having a strong foundation for behavior). In not killing Vader / tossing the lightsaber away, Luke--one man--vindicated the entire old school Jedi teaching, since there was no way he would have been "double-minded" with light & dark after committing patricide. Filthy Jawa
I never really thought about it before. Saw ROTJ as a kid and just took the outcome for granted, but what is Luke's plan there? He believes so much in the good in his father that he knows he will come through? But he must consider the alternative, that Vader has consumed Anakin, so is Luke's backup plan to just die with them on the Death Star (because of his "faith in his friends")? If that's the case, he was considering ending the Jedi long ago.

How could he pull something like that off if he wasn't totally convinced of it?
DANA-kin Skywalker
I never really thought about it before. Saw ROTJ as a kid and just took the outcome for granted, but what is Luke's plan there?Luke expositioned his plan to Leia before he left the Ewok village. Luke and Vader could sense each others presence, so Luke turned himself in to lure Vader away from his rebels so they could complete their mission. He didn't have any real exit strategy, he just knew he had to turn himself in to save the rebellion. To save the dream.
Driver
Luke made it pretty clear to Palpatine he didn't expect to live long, he knew the Death Star was toast. He was protecting the Endor mission and at the same time facing Vader. I'm sure had things gone differently he would try to make sure The Emperor wouldn't escape. Guest Robin
Here's the funny hindsight is 20/20 thing about Kylo's new scar; it's not the size that matters, it's where they put it. If they shrunk it as they did but put it on the inner edge of his left brow then there would be no issue or a minuscule issue (from whiners).
