Mara Jade Skywalker
*shrug* Sure, they could bring him back if they wanted to. But I'd like to think that Vader wouldn't show much mercy to the commanding officer of the Rebel fleet after seeing what he did to the troopers. Or what he later does to Captain Antilles. Poe Dameron
It's a loose end, joke Twitter posts aside. If we've learned nothing, someone is going to want to tie it off sooner or later. Rogue One's existence is a testament to that. Look for a comic where he is imprisoned and dies trying to escape or something.
Zerimar Nyliram
One thing I missed both times I saw the movie: At what point did the Imperials board the fat Mon Cal's ship? I know that Vader ordered a boarding party, but when did they actually cross over onto the Mon Calamari cruiser?
The Choc
I think when Vader's saber is lit, thats when it happens.
Zerimar Nyliram
I mean, I don't remember the Mon Cal cruiser ever coming into contact with the Devastator, and until I read you guys talking about it, I thought the Devastator had captured the Tantive IV offscreen and then lost it briefly, only to recapture it at the beginning of A New Hope. I did not know that it was meant to be inside the Mon Cal cruiser.
The Choc
Vader takes a small shuttle over to the Rebel flagship.
Mara Jade Skywalker
The Devastator comes out of hyperspace almost on top of the Profundity. Vader takes a shuttle over, accompanied by TIE bombers. The rebel troopers manage to get the tape into the Tantive IV, where it's then launched out of the Profundity's docking bay.
The Choc
Maybe Raddus is tortured into giving up where Leia is going. I mean in other Star Wars movies it doesn't seem like ships can be tracked once they go to hyper space. For instance when the Falcon goes to hyperspace at the end of the Empire, they seemingly can't be tracked. However Vader is able to follow Leia's ship to Tatooine. Maybe Raddus knew she was going there and Vader got the info from him? Not that it really matters or that I'd read a comic/novel/whatever that explained that but I guess it could be the case. DANA-kin Skywalker
Mike: "It's a different Mon Calamari." Jay: "I thought they recast the same actor that just gained a ton of weight between films." Mike: "Oh no...Admiral Ackbar's not a real person..." Darth Krawlie
I'm completely blanking. I read about a flashback cameo of Coruscant. I can't remember this happening at all. Someone refresh me!
captainbleh
It did happen. There's a brief flashback of Galen and child-Jyn (and probably Lyra, and possibly Krennic as well) on Coruscant being happy and stuff before they went on the run. pavonis
Hosnian Prime, surely. Unless Hosian Prime and Hosnian Prime are just posh neighborhoods in Imperial City on Coruscant.
Mara Jade Skywalker
Sorry, no, that was Hosian Prime.LOL Yeah, flashback is some sort of dinner with Krennic, Lyra, and Galen. Galen leaves to comfort Jyn. Then she wakes up as they're about to land on Jedha.
DANA-kin Skywalker
I just texted Gareth Edwards who called Kathleen Kennedy, and she confirmed that the name of the planet in the flashback scene is called Plegnon 7.
