The Choc
Lando is gonna steal this movie for sure. I love the "I got a really good feeling about this" line.

Odine
Yeah I gotta admit that looks pretty damn good. Still not sold on the casting choice for Han, but whatever. Loved the opening shot of rats scurrying along the wires in the scummy city. Here's hoping the story is as good as the film looks.

Loved the opening shot of rats scurrying along the wires in the scummy city. Here's hoping the story is as good as the film looks.Pretty much sums up how I feel, too. Not big on the Han casting choice, but based on the trailer, everyone or everything around Han looks interesting. And fun! I may get past AE as Han, especially if this is a one-off film, though. Not completely sold on Donald Glover as Lando either but that can change (great actor, just not sold as Lando....yet), based only on the trailer and teasers. The actor that sells the film for me is Woody Harrelson.
Darth Krawlie
Was that Chewie and another Wookiee at one point? Is Lumpy now canon? I hope so.
pavonis
So, it's going to be "Ell-Three", not "Leet". Makes sense. It's hard to believe that when I first heard about this film being made, I was skeptical. Now I'm excited! It's going to be fun, the way ANH was back in the day. Filthy Jawa
Didn't think it was ever going to be "Leet" that's just the reference. Like BB-8 looks like a bb and a number 8. Trailer is awesome.
Lucas1138
Maybe it's just the magic of movie trailer editing, but yes this all of a sudden looks interesting and good. I was always gonna see it, but now I am kind of looking forward to it as well.
Darth Wicket
The trailer looks awesome and the movie looks like it could be really good. Although I do remember people got excited about The Phantom Menace trailer too.

Filthy Jawa
I'm sure AE will do fine. He's not Harrison Ford and shouldn't be trying to do an impression. He should be trying to get the nuances of the character though and I think he mostly does (from what we've seen). It just feels like one little piece is missing. Like if I was coaching him, I would have suggested 'yadda yadda, cool, arrogant, hint of little-boy-in-over-his-head-being-covered-by-machismo...' but the one subtle ingredient that seems to be missing that Harrison brought to the performance is 'do all that stuff, and I mean really do it, but always with the thought in the back of your mind that you're kind of embarrassed to be in this movie'. pavonis
I really like the exchange in the trailer where Han asks for Chewie's opinion, and then says, "Well, what do you know?" It seems very Ford-esque. I can definitely see HF saying exactly that in exactly that way.
Filthy Jawa
Yeah, except it seemed like he wanted to be in the movie when he said it.

Tank
I wonder if the internet had existed back in the early 90s if people would be this butt hurt over River Phoenix and Sean Patrick Flanney as a young Indy.

Poe Dameron
I wonder if the internet had existed back in the early 90s if people would be this butt hurt over River Phoenix and Sean Patrick Flanney as a young Indy.Given that whenever I bring it up, people don't seem especially receptive to recasting Indy now, after four other actors have played him, that seems likely. Though Spielberg's trial balloon of turning the series into Indiana "Jane" has me crossing my arms and closing my mind with a resounding "Nein!" and generally just hoping that he's trolling the internets. Metropolis
I think most people just don't want anymore Indys.
Tank
I’d go for a young Marion show... you know, one that points out that she was only 13-15, when she had an affair with Indy.
Odine
That was the olden days though. Days when Jerry Lee Lewis married his 13 year old cousin and no one said anything.

captainbleh
There might been a "Young Indy sucks" bulletin board before the WWW went mainstream. I've got a few anxieties about Solo, but AE isn't one of them.
RamonAtila
I'm worried it'll be boring. I'm not worried about the presentation because obviously it looks really good. I'm just concerned the movie will turn out dull because the trailer is no indicator of that. The trailer had some great lines, though.
