I like that description and enjoyed TFA immensely. I think TFA is going to capture the imagination of a whole new generation who will say TFA is their favorite SW movie. And when they go back and watch Episodes 4 -6 for the first time they will enjoy the continuity. Oh, and to try and get back on topic here, yes, the Empire and First Order both seem to only want humans running things in the galaxy.
