One person doesn't make an entire concept bad.

Agree totally. Bad people can provide examples of the need for controls on the implementation of basically good concepts, however.

Sure, but in this case the controls to ensure that the drug was available are partially to blame. The FDA, in trying to ensure that the drug was readily available, set up a monopoly that makes it possible for the company to charge whatever they want and no one else can reasonably make the drug. It works for something like malaria pills, which really have almost no need in the US, but doesn't work as well for medications like this.

This is really what so is distasteful to people of a liberal mind though.

I mean the guy who invented a polio vaccine gave it away for free - almost.

I think you should correct that and say it is distasteful to people who have a heart. Obviously all Democrats don't find it distasteful or they would have done something about it when they had full control and pushed through the Healthcare Act that was going to 'OMG change everything.'

How is Obamacare at fault for that guy being a giant douchenozzle?

It doesn't. Not even a little bit. Third-party insurance payers typically would like meds to be cheaper...not more expensive. They are evil greedy capitalists that way.

Unless of course you are CVS/Caremark. They are truly criminal. Seriously. How can you get away with being both pharmacy and insurance company? Well, they pulled it off. That's like being both judge and juror.
