If people want to prescribe it for that, or illegally purchase it for that purpose, that doesn't really have anything to do with the intended use or whether it's designed to treat a problem that exists. I mean, hell, I know people who think that ibuprofen is an antibiotic, but that doesn't mean that it's actually going to do anything or it should be marketed as one. When I first heard of this last week in the news, I remember thinking this was such a non-story that must've hit on a slow day, because I can't think of any possible reason justifying even a second of air-time to it. And in all seriousness, this wasn't an effort to make MG ramble. I really do think it is ****ed up to tell people there is something wrong with their natural state then sell them a "cure" for it. This goes for any product, of course, but it is particularly nefarious when it comes to sexual issues, given the inherent irrational and emotional components involved... and that there's a marketplace full of people who are already consciously or unconsciously riddled with insecurities and neuroses over it. The only thing I'd add, though is if "you don't want to ****k your husband [or wife] fine" BUT don't come crying to me if they end up finding and ****ing somebody who does want to. I've always found the idea of demanding fidelity out of someone you don't want to have that kind of relationship with to be another form of what this video is rightly attacking: micromanaging and controlling people's sexual choices. They seen how much viagra is making, so why not make a female version and double their profits. The motive is not social engineering the insecurity, it's pure GREED. Social engineering an insecurity is the byproduct. I am not anti-capitalism, but his is an example of the dark side of capitalism at its worst.
