Driver
I've said it before and I'll say it again. Star Wars is no longer one story being told. It's a legend. It's like Robin Hood. The Costner Robin Hood doesn't negate Errol Flynn. You have to look at it that way.Or ancient Mythology... The thing Lucas said he wanted to make a modern version of. How many iterations of King Arthur are there? I get to EU fans a SINGLE continuity was a thing-- but that was never the case since the first EU story Splinter of the Mind's Eye was uncanoned by ESB. Also, Star Wars has given us two Maces and two Bails surely there can be more than one Galen?
The Choc
Yeah, King Arthur too. I was trying to think of more examples than Robin Hood and had a brain lock. You also have to accept the hierarchy within the Legend. It's always gonna go 1-Episode movies2-Non Episode movies3-TV shows4-Books You just need to accept that. If they need to change something from one of the "Anthology" movies for one of the Episodes, they will. If they need to change a book for a movie, they will. Even within the new continuity.
