Yeah! Poor ol' 175 million dollar movie gettin' picked on! What scalding? Every review I've seen has been, more-or-less, "decent but poorly edited and the main villain kind of sucks."

Nah man every UK review of it is scathing. 2 stars in most publications...the telegraph called it a "Crushingly puerile semi-pornographic slog".

I shudder to contemplate their review of Deadpool.

I saw it and I had a good time watching it. Obviously it was flawed, but jesus...what are some of these critics expecting when they go to see movies like this? The Departed? Godsakes.

Saw it the other day. Hated it. To say it merely has flaws is obvious (all movies have them) but it SUFFERED because of them. They are too numerous and would be tedious for me to list or explain them, but what I DID enjoy from this was a few scenes:

1. the Harley Quinn elevator scene with "Come Baby Come" (despite being out of place and smashing continuity into pieces).
2. the scene where Deadshot takes out a bunch of ...um...whatever they're called all by himself.
3. the bar scene.
4 kinda: the scenes in the beginning setting up Deadshot and Harley Quinn's backstory, despite being (necessarily) exposition-heavy.

That's about it.

"Crushingly puerile semi-pornographic slog".

It was decent but it wasn't THAT good.

Right!? It was only mediocre in its failures. The above description makes it sound like French "art house" (insert porn) b grade action film ala Baise Moi, in which case I'm all for it.
