Tex
Yeah pretty much. That's even if they keep a third QB. Trust me I would love to see Tebow get a starting gig somewhere just to see him either win or crash hard, but the reality is that no team likes what they see in him. Like so many others he'll go out with a whimper.
ShadowDog
RG3 will be considered the bigger bust because of the trade to get him.
Tex
I think you're right. The fact that he had some success makes him seem more of a bust because we all just assumed he would blossom into a real QB. All it did, though, was make it harder for the Skins to cut ties with him. Lucas1138
Honestly I think most football people pin that more on the Redskins - rightfully so. RGIII was legitimately fantastic as a rookie. Sky high potential. They ruined him. Only the Redskins could accomplish this.
Tex
Someone will surely pick him up, but I believe he's a bust. He can't take a hit.
Burt
+1 to the Redskins ruining RG3. When they drafted him, I think most anticipated this happening. Teams like the Raiders, Redskins, and 2000s Lions ate up QBs and spit out mangled ruins. There is just too much missing, too much dysfunction, for a QB to succeed in those situations. We all saw it happening in what seemed like slow motion. His knee was clearly gimpy, and they gambled on the whole future of the franchise by leaving him in his rookie year. That might be the biggest case study to be had from RG3....maybe throw the towel in on the playoffs one year so as not to ruin the next 5-10 years. The Choc
It depends on what they secretly want. That we don't know. What you say makes sense but we're rational. They don't secretly want anything. All they want is money.
ShadowDog
That's not accounting for ego.
Tex
No, Choc is right. It's all about money. Those guys would easily check their ego there was money in it.
ShadowDog
If that was true RG3 woulda been cut this week. The owner's ego won't let that happen. I'm not saying every owner or every situation, just saying there are times when ego trumps money.
Tex
I disagree. If RG3 was an undrafted nobody he'd be long gone. Because he was a top pick they're trying desperately to trade him because they want something out of it. They want to get some kind of return on what has turned into a terrible investment. It's not ego, it's money. He will probably be released in the end, but for now they're holding out hope that some equally desperate team will give them something for him. The Choc
Cheaters never win! Well actually they usually do. Unless they are playing the Giants!
Metropolis
Man the whole headset thing, they just don't know when to stop. As a Patriots fan there has to be a point where this becomes embarrassing.
UK Legend Killa
Especially as that was one of the things mentioned in an ESPN report earlier this week as something people have complained about in the past.

Lucas1138
This is my angry face. (I would just like the Patriots to stop being the center of the news cycle. "Cheating" didn't help them win a super bowl for 10 years, I'm not really all that concerned. The NFL is too inept to punish them even if all the allegations are true)
ShadowDog
Its not that the NFL is too inept to punish them, its that the Courts won't honor a collectively bargained agreement. Nothing you can do if the courts tie your hands.
Darth Krawlie
They are nothing if not audacious. And now I'm convinced they're gonna win the Super Bowl again this year just to piss everyone off even more.
