But I know many people don't feel the same. How do YOU feel about it?Frankly, that would be a ridiculous callback to the OT that is not necessary. They have the main OT characters in E7, so that it ends--no need for the nostalgia train. It was already stretching things for the empire to build another only 3 years after losing DS1, as the design flaw is not corrected. With the empire in shambles by the end of ROTJ (or its central authority figures all died), what remaining imperials would waste time on yet another expensive space station that is now 0 - 2 in survival rate? The new films can have all the of the continuity with the OT that is necessary--I welcome that, but another DS--even as a cameo is cheap, and prevents the new film from standing on its own as a new story.
