The Human Torch
I am surprised that Shazam is so far off. With the Rock signing on I would have thought they'd push that harder. Maybe Black Adam will feature in the Justice League film.
Driver
Rumor has it Shazam is not part of the DCCU, but stand-alone and more a family film. And we have two Flashes now, both Barry. And no solo Batfleck movie, despite Batman on screen bing the only ongoing success story they've had. And 5 years to get Green Lantern right. D-Ray Kenobi
No way that Suicide Squad keeps that title.
The Human Torch
I don't see why not. There are movies with worse titles; Wristcutters. Plus that film literally deals with the topic, whereas the Suicide Squad is referencing the tactical term.

Jacen123
Justice League Newark I would think Detroit would be more fitting, especially given the ties to the comic.
Guest
Is it bad that I already assume these movies won't be worth watching?
Driver
Given their track record, no.
NumberSix
Justice League Newark I would think Detroit would be more fitting, especially given the ties to the comic. Too on-the-nose for that very reason. And now that I've actually been to Newark and feared for my life, it's 100x funnier to me.
Jacen123
Too on the nose when the next movie is called "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice"?
NumberSix
Exactly. In terms of names that suggested suicidal deadliness, the nonexistent "Justice League Newark" was more amusing to me than the preexisting "Justice League Detroit". There was another half-second when I also considered "Justice League Antarctica", but I felt it was another half-step further in the same wrong direction. Jacen123
I don't know why I'm arguing against mocking New Jersey. This has never happened to me before.
R.CAllen
They called them Task Force X for the Justice League cartoon. NumberSix
All DC movies are a waste of my time until and unless they give us Peter Dinklage as 'Mazing Man.
pavonis
Hell, I'd watch Dinklage as Superman. That man is a compelling actor.
