Ms. Spam
But it feels so unnecessary for bead like it was mentioned before. I'd make my own loafs but I have no time.
Ryn
Its purpose isn't unfounded but it's used excessively as a shortcut/cost-savings in typical food production.
monkeygirl
It's cheap, easy to make, keeps products soft and extends shelf life. Who cares if it's killing us?
Mara Jade Skywalker
I love bread. Â I buy Nature's Own whole wheat, the two-loaf pack from Costco. I have toast every morning, sandwiches for lunch on the weekend, and the occasional sandwich for dinner.
RelentlessMalice
Yep. People think they are eating healthy but are being tricked. The golden rule is to not buy or eat something that has more 4 ingredients and has a long shelf life. Its sad that some food claiming to be healthy has more sugar than a ack of candy. monkeygirl
I'd like to be able to eat nothing processed but I'm too complacent.
Evolence
This is my take on processed food...The food companies are kind enough to go ahead and do some of the work for me. They are making it so I don't have to cook as long and so my stomach doesn't have to digest as hard the calories. Win-win.
monkeygirl
yeah. Excepting that it probably isn't good food for human bodies and who knows what they're putting into the stuff.
Darth Krawlie
Considering the amount of drugs certain people put into their bodies, I'm willing to bet a little high fructose corn syrup isn't exactly the most dangerous thing.
Destiny Skywalker
Dave's Killer Good Seed or Blues for any red meat sandwich, anything with strong cheese or tuna salad.Mr. Destiny LOVES Dave's Killer Bread. So does Quinn, for that matter. However, I'm pretty sure all the seeds were plugging both of them up. So glad Quinn is potty-trained.

monkeygirl
I am SO past that and am happy about it. When I got my weed script, my GP asked me about that and like I told him, the Xanax they give me for anxiety is much worse-it makes everything taste like it was made with cherub wings, unioorn tears and the fat from newborn lambs and I cannot get enough. Evolence
Drugs don't make you gain weight. The food that drugs make you crave is what makes you gain weight.

Evolence
Alcohol has no nutritional value and is hardly a food. But if you drink enough of it in a day, you can almost meet your recommended daily caloric intake-- it's a bottleneck though, because the liver can metabolize it only so fast, so drinking more doesn't give you more calories within the day. Evolence
Considering that HFCS is subsidized by your tax dollar, I'd have to agree with Pong.
