As Broadchurch fans, JC and I hoped the Fox version wouldn't be too big a disappointment, but it was very nearly a photocopy of the original except for one pointless extra red-herring suspect who added nothing, a solution that didn't vary from the original until thirty minutes from the end (thus muddying the impact just for the sake of surprising us very few Broadchurch fans, AND leaving us on a superfluous cliffhanger), and the Tenth Doctor proving he should never try on an American accent ever again.
