Ryn
http://comicbook.com/blog/2014/07/01/american-gods-tv-adaptation-finds-new-home-at-starz/ Really looking forward to this adaptation.
NumberSix
Still got the hardcover I bought week-of-release, but it's been so long since I read it, all I can remember is I thought the ending was anticlimactic. Whatever that ending was. Also, we don't have Starz, so that's a letdown. But it's Gaiman. Might try it on Netflix someday.
R.CAllen
So they've gone from HBO to Starz? I am now mentally multiplying my estimation of the number of naked bewbs & butts in the pilot episode by two (2).
CoLA
And it just started! Anyone see it yet? I liked the first episode. The man eating vagina scene was tamer than I was expecting, I thought it would be more graphic since it was on Starz. It's been a few years since I read the book so I don't remember how accurate the story is so far.
pavonis
Pretty close to the book so far, save for the bar fight with Mad Sweeney, and I don't recall Technical Boy showing up so early, nor so virtually.
pavonis
Anansi is very different in the series. I wonder if I'll like this version of the character as much as the book's.
