Doze
Lucasfilm's new head of production, Tony To: "oversee all live-action and animation production as Lucasfilm has six new films and several TV projects in various stages of development on its slate. Doze
Would think the 1313 type TV show was to dark for what is in the works.
The Human Torch
With all the money/energy being put into Star Wars I wish Disney would scrap their plans for Cameron's Avatar Land in The Animal Kingdom and just do Star Wars instead.
ShadowDog
LOL Oh wait, Lucas is no longer in charge, it might actually happen now.
Good God a Bear
HT, there will be something built for Star Wars. I bet they will put it in either Hollywood Studios since Star Tours is already there or the Magic Kingdom. But there will be an area of a park somewhere. Disney is going to milk this for all it's worth.
Driver
I don't think Disney would scrap anything for being dark. They are just starting from scratch in terms of content being made from their new key people, and working with a calculated marketing plan leading up to Episode 7. We may get a TV show, but it wouldn't be until after E7 comes out.
The Human Torch
I think Star Wars live action TV would be best served as mini-series events. An hour or just over running time, being an hour and a half slot with commercials. Three or six of those. Then [insert amount of time later] three or six more episodes. Concise story telling. No meandering to a point. Boom boom thank you, ma'am. Got the ratings from the event and now get the cash for a home video set of them.
