Cerina
I really enjoyed the first Transformers though. The second one less so, and I can't even watch the 3rd. But I did actually enjoy the first one.

Darth Ender
Wait. Shredder is white?Yes, according to early reports. But I am sure there will be a lot of depth to this movie--there will be more than meets the eye.
The Human Torch
Did you just say you are sure there will be lot of depth in a Michael Bay film? ;-)
Ryn
Did you guys know the original Turtles origin is an unofficial spinoff of Marvel's Daredevil? In turn inspiring Geriatric Gangrene Jujitsu Gerbils.

The Human Torch
After watching the trailer with my 15yo son, we're both out... theater ticket buying anyway. Will revisit on Netflix. White Shredder bothers me as much as White Khan, but I like both actors.
The Human Torch
Shredder: "April, your dad and I noticed life blows. Not in a good way. The world needs heroes... so I gave them Turtles, because evil. HahaHAHA!" Shredder is Doofensmirtz. My son watched the trailer again and just said, "TMNT? The Massive Ninja Turtles?! Why are they so big? They're turtles not dinosaurs!"
Driver
That first Turtles movie shows its age in some parts, but it was actually pretty cool.
Lucas1138
I must have seen that movie right at "that age." Because I'm pretty sure it is perfect, is everything TMNT is about, and nothing will ever measure up to it. I probably haven't seen it in ten years, but still. The first one was fun but bad, the second one was awful, and the third one is how I imagine hanging out with Krawlie would go. Nobody is happy. Pong Messiah
lolol this looks so, so awful.Yes, it does. I just wonder if it will be "fun" awful, or "miserable" awful. Given the people involved in it, I'm leaning toward "miserable," but am wiling to give it a go if reactions are positive once it comes out. David
Anyone else excited for this movie? I am loving Michael Bay is producing. I am one of the few people that think his take on Transformers is quite good and I am excited for his spin on TMNT. I don't think you're in the minority. i know people always bitch about michael bay, but at the same time, the transformers series has grossed nearly 3 billion worldwide. overall, i like the transformers movies. it's good popcorn porn. Dark of the Moon was a bit ridiculous and over the top, even for a Bay movie, but i'm fairly optimistic for the refresh of new actors and characters for Age of Extinction. As for the new turtles movie: i'm in. let's do this. the turtles aren't what i was expecting in terms of looks, but i'm not bent about it.
The Human Torch
Transformers made money because there are more people on the planet with, contrary to popular belief, income to burn in an economy where mere dollars are meaningless. Also school scores are down in the US and UK, on last look, so more people = more dumb people.
Guest
I know more people who saw Transformers than liked Transformers. I saw 2 & 3 both at the drive-in, playing with other films. I wouldn't see them under any other circumstances.

Odine
Um...If you were to genetically splice something to create humanoid-ninja super heroes, WHY would you choose turtles? Really. I mean I'll probably see it for a laugh, but um... Really?
