Kyrian
One of the best things about being in the security field is that you can tell people like that to bugger off. Literally. I've taken great delight in denying entry to pushy arseholes in the past, people who think that because they know people or are in a hurry or are otherwise Very Important, means that the rules don't apply to them. Yes they bloody well do and I can and WILL throw those rules at you and escort you out if need be. I've done it before and I'll do it any time I need to. Never piss off the cleaners or security if you work somewhere that employs both. Look after us and we'll look after you. It's amazing how many people never learn that lesson. Iceheart
YES. I use the 5 years of security I worked in my 20's as major leverage to get CS work, because I had to get very good at smiling at patrons who are screaming in my face and telling them exactly how far to fuck off. I just sub in "I'm sorry I can't help you today" for "Here's my backup, we're going to have to escort you from the building now."
Iceheart
New emoji I am excited about: The curly-hair emoji, for obvious reasons. The pirate flag, because YARG, PREPARE TO BE BOARDED. The peacock, so I can appropriately express myself when I wear one dress code too fancy for an event, which is one of my favorite pastimes. The party face and the woozy face, so I can appropriately convey the results of the events where I wear one dress code too fancy. The mango, so my friends and I can celebrate the best fruit in the world without even using words the future is now. The cold blue face, so I can properly express winter in Michigan. The hot red face, so I can properly express summer in Michigan. The honey badger, because honey badger don't care. Honey badger don't give a shit, it does what it wants. The toilet paper roll, which can and will be offered to people who give shitty takes on the internet. And perhaps most importantly, the Evil Eye talisman, which is a Turkish and Greek symbol that deflects the Evil Eye, so you KNOW I'm going to be loading up every single damn thing I say on social media with that emoji to keep trolls off my ass. Guest
The mango, so my friends and I can celebrate the best fruit in the world without even using words the future is now. Why are you using a mango emoji to celebrate pineapple?
Iceheart
I had a completely different sarcastic comeback and then I found this: http://i.imgur.com/TKc29x9.jpg I dare you to celebrate your love of pineapple with this hairdo.

Guest
The older kids got to visit her today. My son was excited to see her and hold her, but mostly excited for the little toy we had for him. My daughter got to hold her twice, sing get a song ("I love you baby, don't cry") and give her some kisses.

Iceheart
I just turned a company-wide email about office matters into a Halloween dance party with strategically placed gifs. It might not be a baby, but I got the entire office to read a long email all the way to the end, which you have to admit is a pretty tough thing to do. Jacen123
But did they start from the very beginning?
Destiny Skywalker
I've pretty much given up on trying to get family medical history and have decided to just do genetic testing next month. But I had to fill out the forms from the limited family history I had, I googled my bio grandfather to find out his age when he died. This time, his sister's obituary popped up and I got a ton of info. Less than 24 hours later, I've traced back my lineage at least 6 generations on both grandparents side. Maybe now I can use this to figure out who is on my bio dad's side on 23andme.
