The Human Torch 1,074
You know what could be neat, Elseworldy even, have Momoa be the adult Aqualad... then cast some older Hollywood celeb as an aged Arthur. Like Affleck's Batman was doing his thing behind the scenes until Clarky showed up, Arthur would have been too... and now his "son" is taking his place. So Momoa as Aquaman, Kaldur'ahm version. Then maybe someone well over 50 to be Arthur. All silver haired, shaggy, bearded old king style. Sorta Odin of the Sea... maybe someone like Dennis Quaid.

Guest
The sun is boring. Dark is exciting and cool.
ShadowDog 2,168
The more light there is the more the suits look like shit.
Guest
I'm just glad that DC is so kind in helping me realize that there's no point in wasting my time and money on them.
David 206
that is a fantastic looking cg superman.
The Human Torch 1,074
My son and I were giggling as we talked about this movie. Apparently rumors abound that Batman can't chill at the Batcave or Wayne Manor, now we see Superman in Gotham... maybe Clarky is going around destroying all of Earth's greatest cities. The Human Torch 1,074
It's unfortunate that we already know Clarky isn't allowed to smile, because if we knew there was a chance for joy then these grim promo posters might elicit more interest.
Durty D 49
Oh Torch, you do know that we live in post-emo society where there are no emotions other than angst, regret and revenge. Is this what you were after?
The Human Torch 1,074
LMAO That is fantastic. And yes in a way I would want to see that, but I'd probably do something like that with Bizarro.

Look at the great job Jim Lee is doing for the comics. All time high stuff, there. Yep. Really.
RelentlessMalice 188
I agree fozzie. Man of Steel was awful. The Green Lantern was awful. I have zero expectations for batman vs superman. They have the wrong director doing this film and it showed in man of steel.
Good God a Bear 752
What?!?! Man of Steel was awful? Green Lantern, yes. But not Man of Steel. Sorry I enjoyed it and so did everyone else I know.
RelentlessMalice 188
To each his own. It was a epic letdown for me.
The Human Torch 1,074
imo MoS had moments. Like Returns there is enough to build on, mostly being the cast. However both films have serious suck issues. I'm happy they are giving it another go. When studios do this I almost always like the results;Star Trek TPM gets pushed for Khan, Star Trek V was almost completely ignored when you consider Star Trek 6. The Bond films wink away flops (eg. Moonraker). The X-Films putting Wolverine: Origins to the side. It's like Studio Head Canon. lolWB/DC should do this with Green Lantern too. There was enough there to build with. Fox could do this with F4 as well. Just Bond it, move forward. No need for another origin. Just tell another story, same cast, different cast, half the cast, one holdover, whatever just stop making origin films.
Guest
But if you don't do the origin how will people understand that Invisible Girl can turn invisible, The Human Torch can turn into a flying, flaming human torch, and The Thing is a giant... thing?
