Driver
What?!?! Man of Steel was awful? Green Lantern, yes. But not Man of Steel. Sorry I enjoyed it and so did everyone else I know.Casual movie goers were okay with it, most comic fans hated it.
Good God a Bear
Well I thought it was good. I read comics, although I'm not die hard. Glad I'm not a hard core. Seems like hard core comic fans are never satisfied and butt hurt over everything.
The Human Torch
I think a lot of hard core fans would be more forgiving if they weren't paying for origins every movie. In that light, the only place Returns went wrong was Deadbeat Superdad. You pull that out and you just have a good sequel with a lost love subplot, a perfect status quo point to build from. Good God a Bear
That comment was meant for no one in particular. It was just a generality. And I don't know if hard core fans would be more forgiving. They have so much built up into their minds over how they would like to see it done that I really don't think anything could satisfy them.

Good God a Bear
We'll see when the new Avengers comes out and there's a character in it that is also a character in the latest XMen that is played not only by different people but give no mention to elements such as who their father is, the fact they are mutants, etc.
Darth Krawlie
But the die hards already know that. Of all the things that might bother people about Avengers AOU, it's Stark making Ultron instead of Pym, definitely not Quicksilver. And even that I don't think is gonna be a big deal to them. Like Krawlie says, hardcore fans already know, and have moved one, everyone else wouldn't know. There's lots of movies that come out with characters who we don't know the fathers of. David
saw the new photo dc released of ben affleck/batman. i'm too lazy to post it. but seriously, can we quit with the dark silhouette/mystery photo shit? i just want to see what he looks like in decent, half-ass normal lighting. good grief. The Human Torch
I don't want to see it in normal lighting. In fact, here it comes, if I was in charge the entire story would take place in one night and we'd never see Bruce, just Batman. Movie opens with Clark leaving the Daily Planet at quitting time, movie ends the next morning... The Dawn of Justice.

Ryn
LOL I do agree about the lack of blue though.
pavonis
We've already had a blue-cowled Batman. Back in 1966. Why would they revisit that costume? To the general public, blue on Batman's costume screams CAMP. Maybe someday we'll again get a comedic blue-caped Batman in film, but not this time. I was hoping for something different, so talking to me like I'm an idiot is way off base.
Ryn
I'd like to see real range-of-motion in the neck or any other effort to make the costume more believably manageable. (I think one poster always complained of his costume too closely resembling a SCUBA suit.) Heck, Macfarlane Toys has more articulation in their figures than any of his cinematic outfits.
