Keep telling yourself that you will defeat me. Positive mental reinforcements work well for some people. So I guess you do consider me a threat? Really......Really......the "elite rookie" has definitely earned his stripes in several sports I guess. How surprising that you are already keeping tabs on my team...I know from leagues past we have met in the playoffs or Championship. The problem is this: I know my team will be there.....I dunno if yours will be? HA!

Why do you call yourself the elite rookie?

Why do you call yourself the elite rookie?

LOL It is kinda a joke I guess.

I didnt have much experience in playing fantasy sports. I have played in the yahoo football league and ESPN Keeper Basketball League as well. I did fairly well and was told that I needed to "earn my stripes" OK No big deal. I succeeded in both leagues and have a Championship to show for it. So I went from being a rookie to an elite rookie because I was able to defeat some "seasoned veterans", such as my friends Lucas and Exodus. They may be able to better explain it.....that was just a quick summary.

Oh I was just asking since, after you lose to me, what makes you think you'll be elite?

LOL I welcome the competition out there. Seems like everyone has the fighting spirit right now. I like to see it and hope the league is competetive. I have elite managerial skills and will show it throughout the season ^-. .-^

LOL I am prepared this year. The team I had last year was crap from the start. I didnt set my rankings at all. My team is ready to give boots-to-asses to all the competition.

Boots-to-asses?

Oh you mean you'll show up randomly and not be heard from for a long time!

Oh and lame excuse, I never rank, I just know how to... oh how did you describe it? Oh yes, I use my ELITE managerial skills.

Id honestly say don't expect greatness at all times but its a pretty good team.

Rivers may be turnover prone based on lack of a solid running game and lack of targets at hideout.
Cruz should be solid.
manningham questionable since he does have alex smith as his qb and they tend to spread the ball around.
Jones-Drew... I see a massive decline for him due to his holdout.
Moore has flashes but ain't steady enough at production.

Id say you can easily have weeks of 70. Or 150.

In reaction to the auto-draft, all I can say is...um, Go...Steelers.

Oh, and **** you, Yahoo, for making me take a defense in the 7th round and a kicker in the 8th!

But weren't you glad you were able to finish out your starters so early!

Like I said, I put EVERY SINGLE KICKER ON THE DRAFT LIST on the 'do not draft' list. Still took one with a middle round pick. Classic yahoo.

Gar, if you're bored (ha!) and looking for one of your statistical projects, figure out what the odds are of randomly getting the starting trio of Roethlisberger, Mike Wallace, and Antonio Brown after very much having no intention of doing so. :hmm:

I think it would be cool if everyone would play the League Pick 'Em. (It's the last option under the "League" heading on the Yahoo site).

If I'm going to be in this frickin' league again, then dammit I want it to be more fun than a greased up cheerleader in a game of naked twister!

not gonna lie, kinda pissed off that the computer drafted me an injured kicker and 2 injured defensive players, who were all lost for the year. so that was 3 roster spots completely ****ing wasted. anyways....fixed. dicks.

i got two players with similar issues. and two more that are supposed to be ready by sunday...but i wanted them. i still can't find anything on chris horton. i don't want to get rid of him yet if there's nothing wrong with him. he's just a back up right now, anyway.

And goddamnit. I drafted Eli Manning, why the hell aren't the Giants running all over the Cowboys yet?

It's just like our NFL Pick 'Em, except that you pick the matchups from your league, instead. Yahoo keeps track of everything, it only takes a minute, it would have been some added fun to the league...but since most people probably didn't do it, it doesn't really matter.
