Have you ever just had a killer FF team? I've been playing for six years and have never won my league, got to championship game once, made the playoffs five out of six years in a ten man league. This year I had the second pick in a snake draft and killed.

QBs:
Matt Stafford
Kevin Kolb
Cam Newton (Took him with the 2nd to last pick of the draft!)

WRs:
Calvin Johnson (2nd round)
Larry Fitzgerald (3rd round)
Lee Evans
Hines Ward

RBs:
Adrian Peterson (2nd overall pick)
LeGarrette Blount
Cedric Benson
Mark Ingram

TEs:
Jason Witten
Dustin Keller

DST:
Jets
Giants

K:
Mason Crosby

I have a pending trade to send Cam Newton and Mark Ingram out of my division for Maurice Jones-Drew. This should be a fun season.

Haha, that's awesome. The other owners might be a bit loopy, but you're right, you frikkin nailed it!

I've got a league with some old high school buddies that I should have dominated a couple years ago (2009 season). 12 team league:

Matt Schaub - QB6
Chris Johnson- RB1
Jamaal Charles- RB12
Michael Turner- RB22
DeSean Jackson- WR4
Reggie Wayne- WR6
Brandon Marshall- WR9
Heath Miller- TE7
Cowboys D/ST- DEF6
Rob Bironas- K4

I scored 95ppg, next closest person was 90. The unfortunate part of it was that teams scored 93ppg against me, leading to a 6-7 record and MISSING THE FREAKING PLAYOFFS. I had a win-and-in scenario in the last week and put up 59 points (making the 95ppg avg even more impressive). To make matters worse the 3 playoff weeks I averaged 122ppg(!). I'm still not over it lol.

Brad (grooveterminator) had a hell of a team back in 2006, I'll let him brag on it.

It looks like in my league there are 4 stacked teams, 2 okay team, and 4 bad teams. So, yeah, I did benefit from a few that didn't really know what they were doing. :D

I am in pretty much the same boat as you Rama. Made the title game, playoffs 4 out of 5 seasons (we don't talk about the first season).

My best team ended up similar to Lucas really. My 2009 team was great, but ended up only going 7-6 and sneaking into the playoffs despite being the top scorers with 94.9ppg. Problem was everybody I conceded the third highest amount of points. Thankfully it was an even year and made the playoffs, progressing to the title game only to lose to Rock 117-80 :( Gutting. My team was:

QB: Brees (Rk 2)
RB: MJD (Rk 3)
RB: Ricky Williams (Rk 8) (Mid season pick up for Slaton, who bombed)
WR: Randy Moss (Rk 4)
WR: DeSean Jackson (Rk 2)
TE: John Carlson (Rk 12) (I always struggle at TE)
DEF: Vikings (RK 10)
K: Crosby (Rk 5)

Notbale bench players: Addai (Rk 10) and Kevin Boss (Rk 15)

I loved that team :( I'm hoping my team this year will go out and score big each week too:

Brees, MJD, Foster, DeSean Jackson, Steve Johnson with both NE TE's rotating in and out

Yeah that was merely the other shoe falling for you, I think it was the year before (may have been 2010), that teams scored like 65ppg against you lol. Thats the most frustrating part about fantasy, easily.

i dont want to talk about that 2006 team, bunch of bloody choke artist in the playoffs :(
maybe when i finally if ever win a NFF championship will i look back upon that team and understand how great it was

a couple of examples

2006 kangaroos 155-115 team carr
2007 kangaroos 159-66 irish micks

top two scores all time

yet check the championships and its
kangaroos 0
team carr 1
irish micks 1

totally sucks
fantasy football is a bloody fickle bitch

That 155-115 match-up was during the Colts bye week, meaning I was missing Manning/Harrison! That's one of the most oddball matches we've ever had.

What makes that 06 Aussie Kangaroos team so impressive is that they scored 96.4ppg, with the next highest only being 88, so you were leaps and bounds better than the competition, and that team still holds the record for highest scoring average in a season, along with the the aforementioned 150 point game.

Man, I'm really hoping I can swing this trade: I receive Michael Turner and send LeGarrette Blount and from my bench Jason Witten and Cam Newton. 3 for 1 trades are rare, but my team is just that stacked. I'm 2-0 and could run the table if this guy accepts.

I don't know how comfortable I'd be depending on Dustin Keller for the rest of the year. Idk if what you gain at RB is enough to outweigh the loss at TE.
