irishdancer2
I've heard that's true, too. But my cat's never eaten a poinsettia, so I wouldn't know mg, Jesus is SSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOO adorable! I 'aawwwwwwweeeeeeddddd' so much looking at that picture I was laying on the floor with Bentley last night, and I had my hand next to his face, and he reached up with his paw and grabbed pulled my hand down to his other paw. I was like "Mom, he's holding my hand!" And he totally was! And every time I pulled it away, he'd reach for it and pull it back. It was sssoooo precious! monkeygirl
I JUST heard the Poinsettia thing is a myth. We should snopes it.
Iceheart
Snopes doesn't have anything I could find on cats and poinsettias, but the top hits on a google search (for instance, the first hit) basically say that they're a gastrointestinal irritant, but not fatally dangerous. I don't think Pookie even threw up, Emi caught her mid chew
Sulis
What IS it with the boycats and the destruction? He has to chew on everything. he'll probably grow out of it eventually, has he got plenty of toys to chew on?
Mara Jade Skywalker
My puppies were so cute last night. They were sleeping on one of their beds and their faces were right next to each other. Later on they were spooning. Oh I love them so. I need to post more pictures!

Good God a Bear
Whenever I have the radio on and I start singing one of my cats always comes running, meowing at the top of her lungs, jumps in my lap and puts her paw over my mouth. Her eyes are always wide open in horror like I"m dying or something.

George
Last night I burned my hand while cooking. Later, one of my fur friends noticed while I was petting him and starting licking my wound for me. Either he was trying to kiss it and make it better, or well-done George is delicious.

Mara Jade Skywalker
my puppy just died of parvo the other day. Sux. she had all the vaccinations too. One of Oprah's new puppies died of parvo the other day, too. It's a horrible illness. Our dogs have been sleeping in the kitchen, and we keep them inside with a baby gate. Last night they made a jailbreak and I found them sleeping on the couch when I woke up. Little stinkers.
Destiny Skywalker
I'm really sorry about your puppy, ghurka. Was it the little German Shepherd? My dog reminded me of a sea lion this morning with all of her loud yawning.

Ms. Spam
I love it when I have a hard day and one o' my furry guys sits in my lap and starts purring and then out of the blue licks me. My day's not so bad again, because, well, I been licked.

Ms. Spam
Fortunately Meekikikongkong is a persian so he gets too hot to stay in my lap for long. MMMMM lap cats. My Mom's chihuahua is a pain though. Lacey gets in your lap and starts lickin like there's no tomorrow. If you're not careful she'll even slip you the tongue.

NumberSix
Is Lucky a new dog, JC? We've had him for about a year-'n'-a-half: Chihuahua/dachshund mix, with just a touch of Dustbuster. He keeps our kitchen floor 100% crumb-free.
