I am still reading World War Z. :( It did not help that I had a house guest for a week, so concentrating on any of the books I am currently reading was non-existent, plus they are all overdue now. :(

I like WWZ so far. Some parts were too techno laden, but I can totally picture a lot of it. Definitely is a different spin on Zombies, I like that it is told in a different view and not all gory and rediculous. One could almost think this really had happened, almost, if you lived in a cave.

Nature's Secrets Revealed

Scientific Knowlege of The Laws of Sex Life and Heredity or EUGENICS

"Vital information for the Married and Marriageable of All Ages; a Word at the Right Time to the Boy, Girl, Young Man, Young Woman, Husband, Wife, Father and Mother; Also, Timely Help, Counsel and Instruction for Every Member of Every Home. together with important hints on SOCIAL PURITY, HEREDITY, PHYSICAL MANHOOD AND WOMANHOOD by noted specialists."

This is a riot. It's the 1919 edition. Original copyright: 1904.

"We will never solve the problems of intemperance until children are better born (...) We will never solve the problems of crime, feeble-mindedness, and the social evil until children are better born. We will never empty the jails, reformatories, penitentiaries, and insane asylums by legistlation."

...and it gets better. I love this crazy stuff.

Just finished reading Anne of Green Gables and Anne of Avonlea by L.M. Montgomery. A bit of nostalgia! It's probably been near 15 years that I last read them.

Started Emma by Jane Austen and The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold.

I finished two books on Saturday...

The Speaks the Nightbird and Guilty Pleasures. I enjoyed both books immensely! Thanks to SD and Copper respectively for the recommends!

I am currently reading another Vamp book, The Vampire Files Volume One by P. N. Elrod. I also have Volume 2, I bought both books (which are each compromised of 3 books each) at Borders with a coupon. :D I am only just into Volume One, but so far I like it.

I picked up Bloody Bones and The Killing Dance from HPB the other day. So I'm giving BB a chance again...since the first time was rudely interruped by a fetus. It feels good to read something that has NOTHING to do with babies for a change.
