Bleach Way of Life

With this being by WSB, of course I made use of cut-ups. I found and copied directions for home cleaning of heroine needles, lists of human anatomy, and advertising slogans, then spliced them all together at random intervals with a handy online machine. I get a charge out of doing this, and make it a point do some cut-ups with almost everything I write. You're always bound to get a few useful results, and with this case the "pathogen of fear" line was probably the most intriguing thing that resulted from the process.
And that's about it.

And anyone who uses blasť and flotillas in the same paragraph is fine by me I have no knowledge of Burroughs though, I'm afraid, so I can't comment there.

Take this for instance:
Those sweaty and hallucinating bastards had scaled the face of the Sears Tower, hand-over-hand and for no apparent reason. Crystalline office views were fogged over with their oozing slug trails. At the summit, they burst their lungs over Chicago.
That isn't something you blurt out during a commercial break of a Friends rerun. That **** is work, bay-be. And the reader appreciates the time spent making that a perfect paragraph.
