It's a good thing too because several hours later I got the bomb dropped on me. Now it's high octane rage the rest of the week.

Well, unless I get some PIE in my inbox today. >:-P~~~~~

So, in the best Book Club tradition, we have a tie for first place. I'm going to dwell on the best way to break this tie today and post the tiebreaker tonight. But congrats to all of you! It's probably braver to share your poetry than your writing because the difficulty level is higher and it is far easier for poetry to be cheesy than prose.

PS. Lady LadyGuinevere somehow managed to get a second place vote without entering the contest. That's the mark of an awesome poet!

You might want to verify that Lady G vote. It's probably for Green Light Baby. I know I've confused to two before (sorry ladies). That should push her over the edge to a deserving first place. Congratulations GLB.

Congrats to Carl and GLB. Both poems were great, and deserving of the win.

LOL! I don't mind being confused with GLB - I've known her for years and she rocks

Hm, 3rd place (maybe) isn't bad for my long awaited return. I am too curious when the next competition since I just graduated and all I'm doing is looking for a job, which will probably take a long time.
