Sports Over/Under Game

Total # of Major Leaguers getting an average annual salary of 20 mil at 9

If it is by the end of the 2010 season, I say under, but close.

Career Wins for Greg Maddux - 340 (right now he has 325...just getting 5 more would move him past Steve Carlton for 10th all time)

I'll say over - with him not being an overpowering strikeout pitcher, I say he can go a little longer. Note that this is not to say that a so-called strikeout pitcher will fizzle out if his fastball isn't what it used to be - if he's good enough, he'll learn to pitch the Greg Maddux way. For example, I recall a Randy Johnson game where he pitched six shutout innings against a good hitting club and didn't strikeout any one.

And yes, I meant until 2010 for the salary one.

Sammy Sosa career home runs 698

Where is Sosa nowadays? Isn't he retired? Or is he injured? Or is he hanging out with Jose Canseco?

Regardless, I say under. He still needs 110 home runs, and I don't think he will be coming back.

Number of years before somebody bats .400 in a season - 20

Under. Joe Mauer is under .380 now BTW. I heard a report that Sosa will return next year. He's probably trying to get all that you-know-what out of his system.

Mark Texeira home runs this season O/U 23 - he's at 9 right now.
